Planyway is a team calendar and timeline inside Trello to visually manage schedule, workload and due dates across Trello boards. Planyway lets you coordinate your project plans, share schedules with your team, and have an overview of who's doing what and when. Planyway offers weekly, monthly, Gantt chart, timeline views, showing multiple boards in one place and Google Calendar 2-way syncronization.

I am a designer at my company, and I make web images for the articles that are being put online. With so many Trello boards that cover different topics, it was hard to keep track of what images needed to be created. Planyway gave me the ability to combine all of those boards to highlight all of those upcoming images needs in one spot. It saved me time jumping from board to board, and it helped me better track what assignments needed to get done.

Overall, I am satisfied with Planyway. There have been times, however, when the program is running slowly or the boards won't load.

I really enjoy Planyway. Keep me on track with all my assignments and their due dates.

Everyone can see all my updates and changes very quickly and the email notification is great for back up and reminders.

When Im assigned a new card, it doesn't automatically show up on my planyway calendar so I have to refresh by hitting "select all".

I like that I can drag and drop my trello cards on the calendar, and it syncs with my Google for project timing and milestones.

I wish there was an integrated trello version that had the same features as the chrome plugin version.

I just like have everything in one place.

I love the fact that I can place my cards on trello like events on a calendar. Everything is right in front of me to see and organize. No more switching between apps and getting lost on the way.

I wish it would sync up to Google Calendar better for it to work best with Google Assistant. Like Hey Google what's my agenda for today. It will show up on Google Calendar but not with the assistant.

I love that it integrates as a power up on Trello and as a google chrome extension with additional features that the stand-alone power up doesn’t.

I don’t like that many features that I love about the chrome extension are not available in the power up. I must be on a desktop/laptop computer in order to access those features, for example, seeing the cards and the Planyway calendar in a split screen.

The two way sync feature is by far the best thing about planyway calendar.

The web user interface seems slow, but this is probably just my laptop.

I like that I can see all of my Trello team boards in one calendar view. I also like that I can drag/drop cards to different days. I love the recent update that allows me to use custom fields and checklists within the Planyway power up.

I can't customize the time of day that a card is due.

Overall experience is good, like I said a great way to combine all of the different calendars.

I like that I am able to sync up all of my boards onto one calendar in Trello. I deal with many different boards for all of the things we have going on and this helps bring them all together.

My use has been primarily trial and error. I know it it much more capable than what I use it for however, I wish there were more training resources available to fully utilize the program.

I can drag and drop tasks on the calendar.

It's hard to drop tasks up or down in the same calendar date cell

The ability to create and organize cards and tasks while using the calendar views.

Having to enable permissions *every* time I try to open Planyway except for a handful of times over 4-5 months.

Planyway makes Trello much more useful for planning out projects. Between the ability to view multiple boards on the same calendar, sync with Google, create tasks that span multiple days, and prioritize tasks; this is my most used add-on to Trello.

I'd like options that automatically postpone overdue tasks to the current day. This way they would get automatically moved to my current list of tasks on my calendar. This would save the burden of manually having to move things if you were a little ambitious in your goals for a given day.

Great! After one update, the strikeout feature went away so I wrote a quick note about how I missed it and it came back in like ONE Day!

Ability to move projects around as timelines change

Nothing really. Would be nice if after I check Completed that it’d automatically move to my DONE Trello column

I use Planyway with Trello to keep track of and plan curriculum units for my second grade classroom. It has absolutely changed and strengthened the way that my team and I organize our curriculum and make sure that we are on track in the way that we intend to be. Planyway allows us to see our curriculum ideas, lesson plans, trips, etc, in one glance and then move things around so easily. We can see what is coming up, what did not get done when it should have, etc. We can sequence lessons easily by moving cards around on the calendar, and we can see all of our ‘boards’ - math, science, literacy, etc - at the same time, so we can see how everything fits together in a school day. Before using Planyway, all of these things were much more difficult and time-consuming.

I only wish that there were - somehow - an easier way to use Planyway on a mobile device - a tablet or phone, because I often want to check and adjust things on the fly or while commuting to or from school. There is a mobile app, but the functionality is quite limited when compared to what I can do with a full browser. Also, I sometimes find myself confused about which month I am looking at in calendar view. It is not hard to figure out, of course, but it takes a little more attention than I am used to with other calendar apps.

I am still waiting for the mobile editions to show my iOS calendars.

Ótimo até agora.

I would not be using Trello without Planyway to supplement its features. It is excellent - the ability to structure a day with tasks (or simply organize a list of day by day tasks) has become an essential tool for my organization. Price is just right, as well, since it has to compete with the additional cost of Trello.

I think greater access directly to the card features would be very helpful - especially things like checklists. You get a pretty good interface for the card but it's not yet "the card" itself...which can be very helpful.

I'm a Trello early adopter and have always been challenged to find a way to integrate Trello into my daily calendar. Planyway and Trello together are highly complimentary and I have found myself using more and more daily and weekly.

None that I would say are glaring, mostly UI negatives.

I was looking for a solution that would work with Trello that could plan out my workday a little better by blocking time. I'm also a strong to-do list person, so I wanted something like that as well. I stumbled across Planyway and couldn't be more pleased with its features and functions. I can easily mark tasks as complete or indicate which ones are high priority. It's ideal.

Easy of use, cost-effective, Trello integration

Minor quirks that you can easily navigate if you learn how to effectively manage the tool.

I'll be completely honest and say that managing my time does not come naturally to me. One thing I've learned about myself is that lists simply aren't enough. I've used Trello for years, but at some point a list (or 10 lists) isn't helpful because it doesn't force me to decide when I will do each task or how long it should take. Planyway was an absolute gamechanger for me in this regard. Putting my trello cards into a calendar that could also sync with my iCalendar was such a big step for me in helping me plan my days and weeks. Now, when I am putting things into my Trello lists I can immediately slot those tasks into gaps between meetings, classes, etc., and realize when I've put too much on my plate for the day or week. To-do list meets calendar: gamechanger.

Sometimes the sync features are finicky, and there are little things like not being able to use all of the Trello keyboard shortcuts from Planyway, but I understand nothing is perfect.

It gives you several ways to "look" at your data. Member lanes, Kanban, Agile, etc and that can be useful for a versatile team who needs different data views to answer different questions.

I feel like it needs to have its own dashboard. Just let me login to Planyway to manage everything, and give me better control and functionality than Trello natively provides.

I use Planway for scheduling my own work and also helping stay on top of client projects and deadlines. It’s really been helpful in marrying project management with Calebdar functions.

I like being able to see the status of projects in a calendar format that I can sync with my Trello cards and share in a google calendar.

If I share to a client partner I can’t see their “lane” unless I change the view. I like the lane view. It helps me with follow ups.

As noted above.

The ability to see all my scheduled cards in various layouts, month, 3 days, etc.

I cannot seem to book time with my clients from the Planaway calendar functions meant to sync with Google. Let me know a workaround as this fault make me need to bridge back into Google Calendar or miss meetings.

I love the ease to use it online with my laptop and Trello. It offers the ability to see all my calendars in one place and manage my schedule for my full-time 9-5, family activities, and my entrepreneurial ventures. Super easy and interesting to use.

The biggest struggle with this software is the inability to use it on my phone easily. It is definitely made to be used on a laptop or home computer more than on a cell phone.

I'm extremely happy with it.

It syncs with my google and outlook calendars so all of my tasks are in one place. The functionality within Trello to add tasks to my calendar is fantastic.

For outlook syncing it only syncs every 24 hours rather than automatically like it does with google. It would be nice to have more of an instantaneous update whenever changes are made.

I juggle multiple large projects that are extremely time-sensitive on my own and this has brought so much ease to see the big picture and prioritizing tasks and meetings to keep the team on track.

I love the sync feature. This was the main reason I started using it and it has helped me be able to share calendars with my team. People I work with didn't want to download an entire system but this program allows me to manage my projects and calendars and I just have to share the calendar link once and they are in the loop. This simple task and the multiple boards on one calendar view was a nightmare before I started using this.

I haven't really come across anything I don't like yet. Still setting up my system since I need to use it a bit differently.

Since most of my appt/calendar items are in a Gmail calendar, it was really great to find a tool that would show Trello and Gmail items together on the same calendar. When open on the side of my working board I have a comprehensive view of everything that needs to be done which really helps me feel in control on those super busy days. Plus they are always adding new functionality to the program which is appreciated. This is not a developer that put out a one time piece of software then forgot about it.

Not a Planyway issue, but troubleshooting Google Calendar settings made me learn a lot more about admin settings for my domain than I really wanted to learn, lol!

I love how integrated Planyway is with Trello. Before our team discovered this product, we were duplicating our content calendar on an external calendar, manually making any changes we made on Trello — but Planyway made it easier to sync our dates across the board. Now, any change we make, we just have to make once. I also love being able to view our content schedule in a calendar view to easily visualize the month, drag cards to different dates, and color code our content for each client.

I don't like how using multiple labels on a card affects the color that appears in calendar view. To combat this, we've made all of our "secondary" labels that determine the card's production status black, since the black label never affects the color that appears on the calendar.

Overall Planyway is my connection between planning and implementing all things for our nonprofit. I don’t know how I would function without it actually. Thanks Planyway!

I love that it keeps me organized with all my projects and that it integrates with my Google calendar. That a big plus for us!

As with the initial use of any new program there was a slight learning curve. That’s it

Helps tremendously to organize tasks, the drag n' drop of existing cards and creation of cards on given days is pretty useful. Setting up repeating tasks is nice. Overall it's the right level of UX complexity to fairly easily help me organize tasks, assign them to different days, and just manage home and work tasks. Nice job, not sure though how difficult it'd be to tie-in to Trello a bit more on the Mobile side.

Desktop browser version: I like how easy it is to create cards, drag and drop on to days, open up the cards, setup repeating tasks, very easy to use UX, like it's tie-in with Trello, overall very helpful tool that I use daily to organize at home and work tasks. Mobile: very easy and straightforward UX

Mobile: Maybe I just haven't delved into this feature if it exists, but not being able to view details about the trello card's comments/details is a bit of a bummer. Desktop: Nothing as of now, it's working exactly as I'd expect/want it to work for my organization needs.

I find It helpful because I’m a very visual person and the normal layouts in trello can get very confusing if you are working on a deadline heavy schedule that is dependent on Using multiple different boards.

Puts all of my projects on one calendar making it much easier to see what deadlines are coming up.

Can’t see much info when you click on the project, you have to open the actual project up in a different page to see descriptions.

Since I handle several projects at once, Planway helps visually show me what's next. I can easily move the cards around and assign new dates if necessary

I like that I manage all projects in one place. I can easily track deadlines and move cards by dragging and dropping them in new date if necessary.

I nothing negative to share about the software. I do wish there was a pricing option for a team of two. It goes from 1 to 10 and jumps significantly in price.

Overall, Planyway has been a great boon to my productivity and work. I use it mostly to manage my own projects for myself, but I can see how it would be useful for a team setting.

I like that I can sync Planyway to my Google Calendar. This is a really important integration for me as Google Products really own my life. I also like how detailed I can get with customizations for repetitions for events or tasks.

Sometimes my Google Calendar does not sync immediately with Planyway and I can get errors.

My favorite part of this software is how it works with Trello to keep tasks organized. I love the ability to add or change tasks and dates from both the Planyway calendar or from Trello itself, and that it's possible to open up and edit cards from Planyway.

Planyway has been a game changer for me in terms of productivity. It has kept me from those last minute scrambles when a deadline would sneak up on me.

I love using the calendar to keep track of when all my projects are due. I also use it to segment out my days so that I don't fall behind or get overwhelmed with the number of projects I balance at one time. Planyway helps me make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

I wish that there was a way to link multiple calendar entries to one trello card. For example, if I need 4 working sessions to complete a task, I need to create 4 different cards, which is a bit tedious.

I absolutely love that I can use PlanyWay to essentially turn my todo list into a calendar. It helps me to be much more realistic with my time and much time I dedicate for each task on a day-to-day basis

To edit a single card that was created by a recurring card, you have to select "Edit this card only." Sometimes this just feels a little redundant, and I wish it was easier in some way. It would even be better if I could use my arrow keys and press enter to select "this card only"

Planyway has been a great addition to my Trello. It’s got more features than any other calendar app I’ve tried. It’s probably my most favorite power-up so far. It’s two-way sync with google calendar and number of different views of my tasks are just to name a few features offered. I am still learning from all it does and they’re constantly adding and updating it with more user friendly features.

It’s 2-way syncing and how often it refreshes

It’s hard to tell. Can’t think of any!!

In the end, I found myself using it less and less so discontinued my subscription. It just wasn't worth $5 per month for the limited functionality it offered.

It added my Trello tasks to my Google Calendar and allowed me to see Google calendar in Trello.

The trello integration was cumbersome to set up properly so that it synced with Google calendar. I often forgot the calendar was there. For the limited functionality it offers, it's not worth $5 per month.

I have seen planyway grow into what it is today. The calendar is very powerful but is still limiting as you can't use it across multiple devices and platforms with trello and is limited to a desktop computer running chrome with the planyway extension and trello.com open in the browser. The mobile experience should be the same as we need access to our boards and planyway items regardless of device type.

I love the start and end dates and 2 way calendar sync with icloud and google calendars. This is top notch! This is worth the monthly payments alone.

The user management, billing interface is very weak. I also don't like how you HAVE to use it with Chrome and an extension and how it doesn't work on mobile devices yet unless you use the planyway app which is limiting. I want all trello and planyway functionalities in the trello app, planyway app, all web browsers, etc.

I love Planyway. I think it's literally one of the most powerful Powerups that Trello has. My suggestions are small in comparison with everything it does offer. I have recommended Trello to probably over 20+ people, and have converted about half to all Trello users. Each person, I tell. If you don't buy the business version of Trello, that's fine because Planyway is now included with Trello, but if you're managing multiple things like me and want to see it all in one place, use Planyway. If you're going to buy anything, purchase Planyway.

A place where you can combine all of the boards so you don't have to go to each board to see what you have going on is amazing. I love the versatility, ease of use, and the simplicity of Planyway. The fact that is goes so well with Trello is definitely a plus. I think without the extension, it only comes up as a pop up, which is unhelpful, so the extension is the lifesaver. I tell people, if they buy anything using Trello, it's the Planyway calendar.

I do not like that Planyway is first a pop up without the extension. Also I would like to have a feature we could add assignment dates to tasks within a card. I do a lot of event planning, but some events simply don't need a whole board, they just need to live in one card. Each card has checklists, and I would have to drag the entire card without being able to see specifics about the task that actually needs to be done. Are mini tasks a thing? Is this a ridiculous notion?

Great for quick ramp-up time to manage projects big and small and connecting project task management to Google Calendar is the best reason to use Planyway.

Turned Trello into project management tool that can compete with the other existing industry standards but without all the configuration overhead and super easy to setup. Desktop browser plugin and mobile app does everything I need to quickly access my tasks and see my work schedule. It's also perfect for planning trips/vacations with others where you want to attach Trello cards as time blocks on the schedule on Google Calendar.

There's no browser plugin for Firefox for Opera.

We purchased Planyway primarily for its connectivity and the integration between Trello and Google. We wanted something that would synchronize our activities and deadlines developed in Trello with Google Calendar and our team views. It has also allowed us to visualize the Trello tasks in an easy to read Planyway calendar format and make adjustments as needed. We are still evaluating its use for the other members of our team.

Planyway's integration with Trello via a powerup was quick and easy. I really like being able to see my Trello activities and deadlines on my google calendar. While Trello has a power up to sync with Google, it requires a good bit of time to appear. Not so, with Planyway. It syncs live and that is very helpful. I also like the milestones feature to identify key moments and the Gantt Chart view.

While the iphone and ipad apps work well, I wish that there was a way to view a full week or month calendar on these devices like there is in the Trello app or the web browser.

Have recommended this to many people to help them improve their time management.

I love being able to add Trello tiles to different boards with a calendar view all from the same platform. It has improved my ability to both plan future time and reflect on how I have actually spent my time.

Could not say that there is anything too bad! An improvement I would make could be making comments / adding checklists to cards from the planaway calendar view, but not critical.
