Features I'm missing:
I still can't say. I haven't seen anything bad yet.
We did not like the software, it was not user friendly, and the team hated it.
Everything, we ditched after two months.
Slow development of new features, lack of integrations and api, bad frontend performance over some time in app.
The customization capabilities by project to include or remove certain steps and processes. You're not confined. I also like the permission sets for the teams. We don't have a huge team, but it makes it easy for the team to know which projects they focus on.
The lack of templating of repetitive projects, archiving (removing from visibility) of completed tasks within a project and most importantly... the lack of reporting on estimate/actual on the time across an entire project and individual tasks.
- Easy to use dashboard
- I still think they could do a little better on some of the layout and some of the links - Some simple features are missing ( features that help with settings for example )
I don't like so much the UI and the lack of a mobile app.
It’s constantly developing and it provides great tools for those that need that are comparable to existing software. It’s a one time charge that you can get which is nice to have a premium product.
It’s developing into a premium product so the charge is high for the current state, but I have high hopes for it when it’s finished. It needs mobile, some key things that competitors have like Trello, and should be easier to set up CName and such (I think) but otherwise a great resource.
I don't say this as a con because they are still improving and adding more features. It's still in the early stage. So, there are 2 things right now:
Ease for create projects and tasks. Ease for inviting members
Don't have Epics!! I need some way to classify US.
The features are nearly meet my requirement.
- UX was so bad
Inexpensive for infinite license, easy to navigate, many integrations to platform, quick to setup, intuitive to use.
Attempted to contact support however received no response, some functionality missing (such as the ability to remove tickets from user stories), configuration menus can be confusing for granular use, little in the way of community support, account creation can become complicated if an account already exists for another board.
The possibility to adapt it to own usage. The "Lane" view of tasks
That it is not possible to create "Sub"-projects assigned to specifics members only and that Sub projects are not autoamtically "merged" in one Mother Project. It would make much sense to have all sub projects (like in a tree view) collected in one mother project. Otherwise subprojects are very difficult to organize and control. Also it should be possible to easily assign certain users to only subprojects.
i think their development is become slower with no or little update.
Sometimes os dificult to understand how does it work
Everything, there’s so many features that you don’t get with a lot of project management tools. The team behind it are very responsive with support and constantly adding new features.
Lack of mobile app but that’s coming soon so I’m happy to wait.
It is fixed to scrum, that is the best score.
- Slow performance and not even realtime as expectation.
The variety of ways to configure your workspace and the Kanban cards makes this a very good tool. I played around with different templates and lists, and it is really easy to change. The document storage with the subscription means that full projects can be managed with the system, no need to leave and search around your filing hierarchy.
Although changes take effect, the screen is not always up to date. You can add a field or a label, for example, and you only see it once you leave the editing screen.
It would be nice to have tasks and files to email, this way, customers would be able to send documents without the need to create an account. by GitScrum on 17/07/2019 Thank you for the review. We are working hard to improve every day more.
Life time price Time tracking
No app for mobile
In this technological age it's highly advantageous to be an early adopter. GitScrum has the initiative, goals and momentum to become great, it's not about "if" it will become a competition to the ones on the market right now, but "when" it will become one.
No APIs yet to connect to other apps and it's not live refresh, when moving cards at this point it won't reflect on another user -- also a bit slow on loading cards. A little cluttered on the UI but that can be considered negligible with sprints.
- The lifetime deal pricing. When I was searching for a tool to fit our team's need, this seemed to fit the bill. It was reasonably priced (no monthly fees).
- So far their support team has not responded to any of my enhancement requests (It has been weeks)
It is easy to use and have a great user interface. The UX designed is great for Desktops and the color coding is very helpful.
Needs improvement in bulk actions, like assigning a couple (or a dozen) tasks to one colaborator or moving the tasks to another sprint/user story.
The recent UI/ UX upgrade has drastically improved the navigation and usage of the software
Updates are taking a bit long
Simples de usar
The dark theme has some styling issues that are expected to be solved soon.
Customization - the ability to bend the beast to my will, my style, my workflow.
The only con, is that I got it since it was a new born pup, who handed grown into it's skin yet. So, intergrations were lacking, but the dev team are amazing with roll outs, and it won't be long and this con will be voided.
the While label is powerful, so you can put your logo/brand in many spots so your clients will be impressed!
there could be more features, but the software is very very new and it has released many features. i hope they keep coming.
I like that help me to optimize my admin projects and the emails for users involved
the implementation of the scrum metodology
GitScrum combines the best of various project management systems in one, with robust support for kanban boards, to-do lists, time tracking, labels, and more in one system that is easy to use (once you get the hang of it). Additionally, the way it allows you to work with teams is phenomenal for seeing what's being done, when, and by whom.
There's a minor learning curve that may be trick, especially if you're not well versed in project management approaches, but you can really use GitScrum in any way you see fit and evolve as you go.
Adicionar
- Very simple to use, Everything is straight-forward. - You can do both Scrum/Kanban approaches for your projects. - Super cheap if you buy lifetime license.
- UI is terrible, but you can get used to it
Complete options task, we can create template
Don't have feature payment for client and doesn't well whit white label domain
The board Planning and drag drop of task from one board to another.
The permission levels. Create Task option. Sprint must have to elaborate.
Have not launch the mobile app version.
Time tracking per task is super simple. and managing tasks and overall workflow is pretty simple.
Had difficulty in understanding the movement process of tasks from sidebar and a few times mistakenly moved tasks to different projects.
Less theming flexibility and multiple company within single account not possible
I like that I'm able to use the software for different purposes, such as planning website projects, software applications, and even a book that I'm working on writing.
There are bugs in the system that I have reported to their support, and they didn't believe me that they were bugs, even though I'm a CS Ph.D. student and I've been developing software for over 20 years.
The chance to create a project emailing workflow is very useful, so it keeps people who need to be informed.
Lack of apps for android, IOs and PC. When downloading files shared in gitscrum, it changes the name to awful characters, doesn´t keep the original name.
Real time activity, whether notifications, chats, or creating tasks. You can create projects and assign users and their permission levels. Chat in real time. It has a timer which you c a n assign to jobs so that the field staff are requested to Starr clock upon commencement of job and also stop the timer when Jon finished. This feature gives office staff and management a better overview of job coatings as they can review how long it took filed staff to compete the job. You can create your own tags for staff to assign to jobs, eg, Stuck, or Job cancelled, customer not home, needs rebook etc. Dashboard is in real-time so everyone assigned to the task can see exactly what is taking place.
Could not work out how to invoice directly from app.
I mostly use the board. Some features are missing. Although my reason to choose this platform is minimalist and easy management for my projects. But still some things are missing. These are:
There are currently a lot of features missing, but I believe that is normal because is a recent platform.
I'd like a little more customization on how the cards are laid out (title, effort, assignee, etc). Maybe create a few different templates users can choose from based on the content that is most important to them and needs to be seen from the main view.
User stories included
No mobile app so far
Lifetime offer
I waiting the UI design so at the moment i don't have any cons
The most thing I like about this software is that it is customisable and very easy to use.
Not very friendly on mobile devices, it would be great if there was a native mobile application keeping it in sync with the web version. I also wish if i can keep multiple company logos or create multiple company profiles. As i switch from one company to another.
The value is great. The pricing and features of GitScrum destroy the competition. I have used Monday, Redbooth, Jira and a few others to run Agile marketing teams and I chose Gitscrum because of the good reviews and excellent pricing. if you are looking for an agile management tool that offers a lot of functionality without the complexity of Jira, this is a great solution.
I don't like how the comments field on individual stories is so hard to edit. If you tag someone, @name, the field will delete text and jump around... that is my only complaint so far.
The ease of use of the software, the visualization of tasks and the constant improvements and enhancements, and my team works better.
So far the software has met all of our needs has left nothing to be desired
- Lifetime license is a great deal
- Tables that display information provide poor filtering and sorting functionality. For instance, sprints section is not sortable/filterable at all, whereas it would be useful to filter out closed sprints, and sort by date/name. The same scenario for user stories
Text filling in tasks (tagging a user can clear the text, some characters can't be filled unless you press Echap)
Liked the timed feature, keeps my team on task and lets me know how long we are taking for items.
Would like recorring ability, and still seems there could be some streamlining
lack of dedicated mobile applications. it is currently very difficult to use on mobile platforms.
Lack of Gannt Chart, mobile app and integration to Microsoft Office push me to drop Gitscrum and start to use Microsoft Team.
A field for task priorities would be useful. The sharing of the planning board doesn't seem to work for me. Minor quibbles.
Nice interface and look and feel, seems to be able to attend simple project management needs.
Very limited set of functionalities (contains only the project management part, no other features), and misleading name/advertising: doesn’t include git repositories in spite of the name. Customer support simply doesn’t exist, emails are not answered.
The thing I liked most about GitScrum is the level of freedom it give us to create custom fields and other parameters what need to make most of it.
I think UI and UX still need to be improved. I often get puzzled and lost in the app.
Very difficult to make custom column (colouring)
Pretty easy to use and seemed to be the ideal solution but I quickly found it lacking in a number of areas.
Lack of features. One key feature was the white labelling but you've never implemented SSL on our own sub-domain so I've not been able to use that at all.
I like the easiness and the simplicity of it.
I hope these features can be implemented:
Very little. It is a start-up and future depends on its uptake in the market.
I love being able to manage a large number of projects from one dashboard, and discovering new features every time I login. There is a very active community on Facebook where you can ask any questions if stuck.
The UI is lacking but the GitScrun team are actively working on this. No mobile app but again GitScrum are working on it.
The UX is smooth and functional GitScrum is awesome!
Not a thing. Keep up the good work! You guys are doing great
For some projects we need a gantt chart. The plans have such a feature, but I would like to have it faster. There are some interface bugs, but they are minor, I think they will fix it.
This is a hybrid between Asana and Jira - with the promise of being the best of both worlds. Great board management features and we love the checklists, workflow customizations, time-tracking, sprint management.
There are still a lot of UI bugs, phantom scrolling, export doesn't export everything for backups, I don't believe there is a backup of the projects, the sprint system is too "live" - when switching tasks from a closed sprint, you lose the accuracy of the burn down from the previous sprint. The support button was removed, so I can't send feedback easily. Some fields automatically save, others have a save button. I would like to be able to have the same task shared in different projects (like Asana can do).
The simplicity of managing all our projects which helps my team plan, track, and organize their work.
The interface could have a slightly better design.
There aren't my activities. Is a big problem. I think to leave gitscrum next time
This tool is very easy to use. I could from the beginning intuitively use it without problems.
The way the subtask appear is clutters the space. It would be better if the sub tasks would be hidden until we over the mouse on top of the mother task.
Simple and flexible to use, lifetime subscription.
Sprint setup can’t create in batch.
Besides the pretty little ugly dashbord, the GitScrum is full of tools that let you costumize your projects and give to your team a precisily road map to acomplish tasks on time and give to team members shortcuts to communicate to each other. And don´t forget that GitScrum is a lifetime deal. Curious about their roadmap on upgrades.
When you start GitScrum interface is a lot confusing, but don´t giveup on this! After a learning curve the app becomes a great tool to handle projects.
I love the ease of use in setting up a project, adding team members, and managing the projects through completion.
The only con I see as of now is not being able to add an image or screenshot directly into the software.
I love the simplicity of this product! You can easily see what status all projects have while simultaneously making simple adjustments to your own
There are too many little steps you have to take to make certain aspects happen that should be much easier. The lack of an auto refresh/immediate reflection of changes made by other users is a huge pain! Also, the ability to export a much more detailed csv/excel report would be ideal.
While GitScrum is a fairly new player in town it already covers plenty of features that help YOU with your business. That is due it's ease of use and the rock solid implementation of Scrum Boards. But you're not tied to just one of them - you can have multiple via User Stories to keep yourself safe from losing the overview. Break up your business tasks if you work for yourself and want to stay focused and laser sharp when getting things done or have your team pick their tasks and get things done with the whole team easily without doing steps multiple times. The sky is the limit once you got use to working with boards (which you actually can modify to you needs completely) and if you get stuck, just head to the support and they'll help you out - at least they did when I asked them and as they treat their clients like kings, they will do so for you too! In a nutshell: - Scrum Boards
I didn't really like the visual appearing in the beginning to be honest. It was kind of outdated and I had my doubts. If you get to see the old design, you know what I mean, I think. But now it's a really good UI. Which is on the opposite the biggest "issue" I have. Due to the really fast improvement cycles (there are 2-3 updates a week sometimes) I sometimes need to look around for a moment to figure out where something has gone. But to be fair - it's, like I said, a young tool and they try to fulfill their users wishes and move around stuff to make it better. Up until now, once I found the "missing function" I used before, it made sense to move it. Still, it's breaking up the workflow for a few seconds so that's what I like the least although I understand the need for it. You can't improve the UI without moving stuff.... so I can live with that.
There UI/UX aren't that much good (personal thought)
Being able to see what my team has done and plan to do next.
Nothing so far since overall had no problems with the software.
I run a Property Construction company and we have moved to adopt the scrum project management methodology in 2018. Initially we looked at other construction project management softwares that are readily available, however they look really dated and we wanted to use something newer and more flexible and customise to our needs, this is when we stumbled upon GitScrum. Setting up GitScrum was a breeze - everything is layout intuitively, and their UI is very modern and pleasing to use.
The development team is pushing out updates too fast (they add new features and updates weekly), it just means I have to keep learning new features in this already feature-rich software.
The fact that i can manage my projects from overall! It is user friendly, it has time tracking. You can upload files. The support is awesome!
There is nothing i do not like about it.
