Our company has solved the great problem of not being able to save amounts of information, files or transactions, because we did not have a safe place to store these important documents, that is why we lost a lot of information, important documents, valuable transactions for us, also that we had that change the computers monthly, because they were saturated and we could not recover them, thanks to this software, all these problems were solved, now these documents are not lost, they are automatically saved in the cloud and With just a few clicks, we have access to all of them , which facilitates our work and allows us to finish jobs in our homes that were incomplete or that need more time to do them, we could send them to the cloud, download them to our home, terminals and recharge, exponentially increasing the productivity of the company.

Dropbox is very easy to use, just take a few minutes to register and once this is done, you can save any amount of information you want in the cloud, important documents, photos, files, transactions, empty your computer or mobile phone to not slow them down. or saturate them with information, and you will not lose any file due to damage or theft of your computer, since synchronizing it with your device or computer will automatically save any file, making it one of the safest methods to save files in the world. It should be noted that you can share any document or information with anyone who uses the program, without having full access, only what you want.

The drawback is the limited space available for the cloud, since it can save a large number of files, but there comes a time when it reaches this limit and you must pay a special fee to add more memory to the cloud, which I consider very high for the common user or the company that is thinking of acquiring this software, in addition to the folders can not be customized, so you can not specify well to be each, I hope that in future updates you can correct these small details, but In general It is excellent software.

My overall experience is positive with Dropbox. Specially the Dropbox Sync app for PC. It works well. Synchronizes files easily without major errors. The security is safe and near impossible to hack.

The Dropbox app is easy to use. Easy to download via Playstore or the Apple app store and you can login via your existing google account so you don't need to login separately with your email address and password. The files are easy to access. You can download them or upload your files easily to your mobile device or tablet. You can also stream video files from the Dropbox app without downloading them first, as well you can watch image files without needing them to download either.

What i don't like with the Dropbox app is that you cannot access the deleted files section compared to the web based version. The disadvantage is that when you accidentally delete a file with the Dropbox app you need to go to the website of Dropbox and login from there and then show the deleted files from there and recover the file you have deleted.

We use Dropbox every day to keep our teams organized and collaborate on documents and folders inside and outside our organization. We cant imagine doing our work without it!

Every day, I'm grateful for Dropbox and the visionary leadership in our IT department that saw this revolution coming and jumped on the Dropbox for Business train before anyone really knew how much we would come to value and depend on this solution. Dropbox has enabled me to work literally anywhere in the world and always have my files with me, ready to pick up on a plane, in another country wherever life takes me. Document sharing is no longer an issue, not only when working with team members, but those outside my team too. I can share a folder, knowing that even when I leave on a no-communication vacation everything is accessible and available.

There's very little not to love about Dropbox. The only frustrations we can continue to experience are those of our own making. Complex file structures, redundant documents, etc. We're eternally grateful for Dropbox's trash feature, ensuring nothing is ever really gone when deleted and have used that to recover quite a few files. Some team members find it disconcerting that a document is not really their own, and could disappear or be edited by others on the fly, but there is always the option to save local copies if that is a concern. The smart sync feature is another must-have that helps keep documents off your hard disk and in the cloud.

Cloud storage with security and peace of mind!

Access anytime, anywhere is a huge plus! You don't need an internet connection, however this does make the syncing function a challenge when more than one person has editing capabilities on shared files. An entire virtual company in one spot and never a worry that files are gone forever with the restoring function. That is security that is priceless!

The areas I find lacking are when looking up activity of users to find that the file path is not entirely visible. This makes it impossible to see where a document has been moved to. There is no way of doing bulk actions on mass amounts of files. The permissions functionality needs to be more powerful. I know this will make it complex but if you are able to segment permissions down to the file level then it would be extremely powerful.

We simply couldn’t run our business without Dropbox. Its not just a daily use thing; I probably use it several times an hour. I love that it’s seamlessly available across all my devices. Nothing ever gets lost. We have thousands of documents and a few hundred folders, and they are quite well organised by category. But even if you forget where something is fiked, the global search function is really handy.

Fast, reliable, great features. I have a personal account and a work account, and its easy to switch between them on all my devices. I’m a big fan of dropbox.

It’s a shame that you can’t click to send a file by email from within the app. Instead, if you want to share, it sends a link to recipient. This isn’t great cos lots of people at work have restricted access to dropbox. There is a workaround to attach the file, but its clumsy.

Dropbox has made our business day-to-day much more efficient since we don't have to stop work frequently to troubleshoot computer issues.

It's the most seamless way our office has found to share files. We have new-ish Apple desktops, but they kept crashing and hanging up - sometimes OS updates helped, sometimes they didn't. After a particularly bad OS crash that left me unable to access any of our electronic files, my employer downloaded Dropbox Business so we can access and share all company files without having to use the OS finder feature. We still o use Finder, but if it ever crashes, we can still access everything at the Dropbox website. Such a relief! And no glitches with the software so far - quick upload and download times, good sync between office computers.

I honestly have no complaints. It took a little while to upload everything to our dropbox account at first, and there was some slight delay in accessing files while everything uploaded, but nothing that kept us from doing work.

Dropbox for Business keeps not only my team organized, but our entire company and provides us shared knowledge and touchpoints for file handling. We're grateful this enterprise solution is available.

Dropbox handles files the way you would hope we would be doing in the 21st century. Our team uses Dropbox for Business to its full extent and love the advanced features like the timestamp comment on videos. This is hugely helpful when sharing and reviewing videos with each other. Shared folders keep us all on the same page and best of all, no more attachments - just send a link!

The best thing we did was get everyone on the Dropbox train by signing up for the enterprise version. But as with all transitions, there were some bumps. As we've implemented across our many teams, it can be complex to ensure you have the right permissions to share and edit files. Not to mention that we can now access so much more of each other's work than before. This can be overwhelming. Be sure you still have a clear idea who is in charge of folders so things don't get misplaced (or accidentally deleted) and it's a good idea to make sure your team is trained on how to use the features. An unsuspecting team member who doesn't know about smart sync might find their hard disk space gone in a blink!

Since I am quite contented with the Dropbox Business, I would highly recommend it. Apart from the fact that it is easy to use, it also safe and also promotes teamwork, aiding you and your team keeping a regular tab at all the important documents.

Dropbox Business is a tool that is easy to use when thinking of sharing your documents to a number of people at a given time. All you have to do is install this tool and upload your respective document. You can share its link with end number of people you desire to share with. As a writer, I have ample of documents to retain and share with both my team and the concerned authorities. This tool acts single-handedly and saves my time and energy rather than sharing the documents individually. The best part about this tool is that whatever changes you make in the document, they are automatically saved and updated, which lessens your task of editing it again and again for all those with whom you have shared or intend to share it. I frequently use this for communicating the monthly tasks assigned to my team and also the content that I write.

Fortunately, I have never confronted any drawbacks of this tool. But I have a point of concern that, its close competitor Google Drive is available for free which outweighs Dropbox Business somehow. Therefore for any minor work plans at times I too resort to Google Drive.

Sometimes I work from home, sometimes I go into the office, sometimes I work off my laptop. Using Dropbox makes it so great not to have to worry about having the most recent version of files available. Years ago I had to e-mail myself the latest copies of spreadsheets when I knew I'd be working in a different location. The Smart Sync is a wonderful way to save disk space by customizing which files you want stored on your hard drive and which files you want stored only in the cloud. They've recently fixed an issue I was having with Windows search not being able to find the file names of files stored only in the cloud - now searching for file names of files stored in the cloud works with my Windows 10.

When I've had to contact customer service, sometimes I've felt like they didn't really understand my problem and provided solutions that didn't apply to my problem. Other times they've been great. Often I've been able to find information on their help section when I've had questions about a feature or problem, but not always.

Very useful tool to share documents with people who have access to Dropbox, especially since our company doesn't have shared drives.

Dropbox is accessible from a web browser or in Windows Explorer. Files and directories are visible in Windows Explorer like other files and directories in other drives. Dropbox works just like any other folder on the computer but with a few differences. Any files or folders inside Dropbox will get synchronized to Dropbox's servers and any other computer linked to an account. Green check marks will appear next to the filename indicate that they're synced and up to date. Dropbox keeps track of every change made to any of its contents. Users will receive email notifications of changes made. It was easy to install Dropbox and easy to invite others to join as well. Since Dropbox is available on the web, files are accessible from anywhere, on any device, and share them with anyone. Save files on your computer, then access them on the phone from the road. Everything you keep in Dropbox is synced automatically to all devices. Save any kind of file in Dropbox, from photos, videos, and music to Microsoft Office and Adobe files.

Space if limited for free download. The free personal account starts with 2 GB only. You can earn more space through referrals (an additional 500MB for every friend who joins, up to 16GB) and other actions (linking with Twitter, enabling camera uploads, and so on). Still, most other file-syncing and storage programs give you more than 2GB to start. Paid personal plans, called Dropbox Pro, include 1TB of space for a monthly or yearly fee. One of the most important benefits of having a Pro account is that it includes priority support. If something goes wrong, you'll want help figuring out what it was and where your files went. Without priority support, it's nearly impossible to get someone from Dropbox to assist you in real time. You'll have to reach out by email, Web form, or Twitter for help. In addition to priority support, Pro users also get some neat file-sharing functionality, such as the ability to control when links to shared files expire. One gripe Dropbox users had in the past concerned access to old files, and the company now offers a neat upgrade that solves this problem. For an extra fee per month or per year, you can add Extended Version History, which keeps previous versions of your files and deleted files for one year without them counting toward your allotted space.

Without many complications it is a good solution to share files, without limitations, without compromises.

It is a collaborative service since it allows to share entire folders among several users. It allows to share loose documents through public link and albums in public gallery mode. It is much better if you create a folder on the computer whose content allows you to synchronize between several computers. It does not allow to synchronize folders that are not inside said folder. You do not have applications to view, create or edit the files. It works as a backup and synchronization between devices and users that share folders.

Unfortunately it forces you to become an advertising agent, in order to get more free space, you must be inviting your friends, installing it on your computer, etc. etc.

Ease of file transfers from one device to another. It would be nice if file transfers could be made directly from one device to another on the same WiFi connection to speed up the process.

Dropbox has been so easy to use over the past few years. Every photo I take is automatically uploaded to the dropbox cloud where I can easily access it on my desktop or laptop computer. Sending large work projects and files, especially video files, to clients is a breeze and they make file sharing settings easy to use and manage. The price is a little costly for the paid version, which I use, but while their area other cheaper options out there I just keep coming back to Dropbox for it's ease of use and mostly it's widespread implementation in many other applications which makes using it so much easier, and fluid of an experience.

The price is a little costly for the paid version, especially compared to other cloud services, but good deals are out there if you look.

I have never had a major issue when using Dropbox and have only needed to call customer service once. My staff and I have been able to share and modify files regularly, allowing us to work remotely and allowing me to address emergencies as they arise. Sharing large files with clients and opposing counsel is quite simple. And the options are readily scalable depending upon the need. I started with the free version and have upgraded to business and have three users and over a terabyte of storage. I have considered buying a NAS system for my office, and now, even once I do, I am going to integrate my backups with Dropbox as my cloud storage system.

I like the easy access to all my files anywhere I go. Regardless of the office (brick and mortar, home, or on the road), I have access to all my client files and documents as well as templates for drafting. The mobile app has also been a great benefit. I am also a big fan of needing only minimal computer/tech skills to set up and maintain the software.

The only con I have experienced is when sharing a large number of files or large folders with individuals working on projects for me or clients the file recipient has had to either join my group and pay for an additional user or had to upgrade their own account. However, the price for additional space or adding a user has been fairly reasonable and allows for great productivity.

Although we had hesitations about Dropbox Business initially, it definitely ended up being worth it since now we are able to save content and share them without having to worry about space limitation. Also, now that we have a large amount of space, we can have every file all in one place, rather than everything scattered around in multiple different softwares.

Like any other organization, we were having an issue of being able to store all of our files in one place. Due to the space limitations that certain websites place on storage, we had an issue of things being saved in a variety of places. In order to solve this issue, we turned to Dropbox Business. What I like about Dropbox Business is that users get complete control over how much space is provided depending on the needs of the business. This has been very helpful to us for storage of pictures, videos, and more.

What I liked about least this software is that the price tag can seem a little excessive, especially for smaller nonprofit organizations that may not have the money to be able to purchase a subscription for Dropbox Business. Sometimes an external hard drive seems like a better option but it can be a hindrance to have to store everything on a physical object, as having things in the cloud is much better.

The ease of sharing files across our management team and with our customers couldn't be easier. Our staff can upload pictures to DropBox from their phones in the field while our management team can then access the pictures immediately and share with our customers. We have often looked into OneDrive just because it comes free with a Microsoft Office subscription, but it doesn't even compare to the easy and simplicity of DropBox. Couldn't run our office without this!

If a folder is shared with multiple staff in our office, if someone saves a large file, that now has to be downloaded instantly on 4-7 other computers at that exact moment... this can slow down our WiFi Internet speed in our small office. Also wish it could figure out conflicted copies of files when two people are editing at the same time.

I believe Dropbox is the pioneer software who started workstorage online and manage to keep up despite of competitors in the market. It is extremely easy to use and portable as you can download it from the app store.

We've have not change Dropbox since we started using it 5 years ago. My boss and other users were satisfied. I saw how they manage to improve the software overtime and they did a good job especially when syncing files. It is now faster compared before that you need to wait for sometime. Now even im working at home and someones using it in the office, it would easily synced on my pc's dropbox which is every time saving. I love that you can install it to your mobile phone.

Down side: 1. It eats up my internet. I mean if your gone for awhile and files are syncing, it causes streaming videos load slowly.

dropbox has always allowed me to store the different projects I work on so I can access and work on them from anywhere, regardless of whether I'm in the office, my house, traveling by train or unable to sleep at 3 a.m. So if you need to be able to access all your documents and require a reliable and secure medium, dropbox business is an excellent option.

The best thing about dropbox is:

the space 3 terabytes can be a bit limited, since there are other similar companies that offer unlimited storage for a slightly higher price.

It has increased my productivity and allows me to collaborate and work with clients with ease, any where in the world.

What can I saw about Dropbox. In my private practice I have been using Dropbox for about 2 years. But, prior to my own practice, I have used it at other law firms and have had the personal free account as well. Its very easy to use. Create folders, within folders, and drag and drop documents into Dropbox. In my own practice, Dropbox for business is where I store all my client files. In addition, in my employment based immigration practice, Dropbox comes in handy when I need documentation from clients to prepare employment based petitions. Sending an email from Dropbox to the client or beneficiary allows them to easily collaborate with me in a particular folder. Dropbox is very easy to use and clearly has increased my productivity as my files are available to me 24/7 and anywhere in the world. Most importantly I love the mobile app where I can look up on my phone a document that I stored and forward it via email to my client. I do not need to be in front of a computer to use Dropbox. I can use it anywhere.

There have been some glitches here in there. But, their technical staff has been very helpful in correcting issues and providing alternate means for my clients to collaborate with me on particular files in the cloud. I do not have anything that I do not like about the software solution.

Dropbox Business has helped our team be able to easily share and collaborate on projects. We can create a folder system that allows us to have designated folders for specific projects, and for each piece of multi-stage projects. Because of the options for sharing, we can also share early with other teams within our organization, and with stakeholders. We use Dropbox business to produce high-level organizational events, including organizing AV assets, scripts, schedules, etc., as well as managing other communications projects.

It is incredibly easy to use, with a very short learning period. It makes sharing even large files very easy, and allows a team to collaborate on files while maintaining a single master copy that everyone can access and edit without having to worry about old versions overwriting newer ones.

If you leave it synced continually, you will need to make sure you have a good internet connection! Take the time to make sure you're only syncing the folders you actually need instead of defaulting to syncing everything.

We've been with Dropbox for over 10 years now. I'd say it is the most important piece of software we use. Their support/customer service, the two times I've needed it, were excellent to work with.

I don't think about Dropbox all that much, but it's probably the most used software our office has. It is always on, just humming along and working in the background. Everyone at our office syncs their entire computers to the cloud with Dropbox, and as the business owner, it gives me a big sense of relief knowing our files are safe and backed up. Otherwise, when we do "use" dropbox knowingly (typically in the browser), it's always simple and easy to work with.

It's hard to think of something Dropbox could improve upon, but I'd have to say maybe their Mac app is so minimal that some people don't find it easy to use. More like they don't know they can use it. It's essentially just your preferences that you can open and adjust... but of course the other 99% of the app is doing its syncing without a UI at all.

I use Dropbox to back up my educational data for my business. Also to back up any applications/.exe files I downloaded.

1. Customer service. They try to save money and automate everything to provide low rates - understandable. I had added a new Linux computer and put the dropbox folder on an external drive.

Dropbox is a fantastic tool for well organized and technologically adversed professionals looking to store files in the “cloud” allowing for device memory retention.

Dropbox does a fantastic job of filing information pending YOUR organizational capability. It is best to setup template structures for categories, projects, etc. Dropbox is what you make of it. If you don’t want to clutter your devices’ memory with files it is easy to upload and download those stored in Dropbox unnecessary for local storage.

The sync function downloads files locally and provides live updates to box. It is nice to have files saved in 2 places, but for business it is best to free local storage for present projects verses cluttering devices with endless memory as time passes. Also, if you are unable to organize files. Dropbox will become a clutter of information.

Dropbox is super easy to use and has tons of great features. My favorites are the sharing feature which allows you to give access to other users with a simple link. You are then able to choose if you just want them to view the folder or to edit – this comes in handy a lot! Another nice feature is the downloading. Some programs only allow you to download one file at a time. Not Dropbox! You're able to download tons of files and it will export as a zip file. We use Dropbox for all our file sharing needs!

The only thing which I dislike about Dropbox is how you navigate through folders. If you go into one folder, you are unable to use your browser's "back" button to get to the previous folder. You have to use Dropbox's navigation and select the previous folder. This is not a huge deal, but it would be nice for the two to be compatible.

Dropbox software provide a lot of options to manage and sharing all of my important files in a best way. It is the most reliable and fast tool which provide the complete security of my important data, files and documents. Hence, everyone get benefited from the Dropbox software.

Dropbox software allow its users to share the large amount of important information, files and documents with our friends and colleagues. I always choose this efficient software to manage all of our important files. Hence, Dropbox is a great software for sharing, storing and managing. I would recommended this software because Dropbox is the best cloud-based storage software.

for the beginners, it is so difficult to use this software properly. So, in the initial point, they faced a lot of problems that how they run this efficient software in a efficient way. The another problem is that when we download the files from the Dropbox software, then at a onetime we can only download one file.

A total file sharing solution. No limitations. no compromises. it just works.

This service has file sharing down to a science. The web interface gives you access to your files from any where and they have sync clients that work on all major operating systems. They file sync does not seem to have any limitations like you can't have certain punctuation in filenames like One Drive does. It allows you to manage the connection totally as well limiting bandwidth and selectively syncing certain folders only on certain computers. They also have integrations with a number of apps out there to serve as storage and a backup and sync location for settings and data. The photo albums feature is great as well allowing you to share pictures with family and friends with a few clicks. and sharing a file is as quick as a right click and then pasting a link. The value for the money is great. Support is wonderful to work with as well they are more than competent and are quite courteous to boot. You can't go wrong with Dropbox!

You have to ask for your unlimited storage in 5 TB chunks. Technically they allow for 1TB per user in the business account but they will increase it beyond this limit if you ask support on a case by case basis.

I've used DropBox for Business in our radio station for over 8 years. I use this for the broadcasters from around the nation to send me their files for their weekly programs. I then take them from my dropbox account and move them to our secure server for uploading to the radio station.

It is so easy and so reliable to use.

Sometimes, a glitch will happen as I rename a file. It will not immediately allow me to download the mp3 version. It is downloaded as an html file (blank). Now, I simply move on and come back and hour or so later and I am able to download as normal. It is not that big of an issue unless I need the file immediately.

Ability to save all local documents on client computer hard drives and automatically sync to a secure cloud backup. Sync files between multiple computers. Allows for searchable, indexed file structure that is not actually taking up space on the hard drive is incredible; Smart Sync is a fantastic feature.

Team folders, Smart Sync, Selective Sync, and Groups make Dropbox Business the superior choice for OS-integrated cloud sync file storage. These features are not found in any other software and make Dropbox Business exceptionally versatile for our users.

Syncing files that are best handled by other programs, like OneNote notebooks or Outlook PST files can get messy. Using those kinds of files in OneDrive is fine, but Dropbox is not the ideal location for them. Also, a built-in method for selecting folders that are "Dropbox folders" kind of how Google Drive can, would be neat.

We use DropBox to share real estate information. Details about properties and underwriting. It's convenient to have all of the corporation's information on deals being worked on in one single drive.

Easy to drag and drop documents to share and edit sharing options.

Recent significant price increase does not feel justified, even with the slight storage increase. I don't like using their web platform because I find the layout clunky and wasteful of screen space. Plus their menus could be improved.

Overall experience has been great. I've tried other programs in the past such as OneDrive and Google Drive and I haven't liked either as much as I like Dropbox.

I love that when I sync it to my desktop it acts as though it's files on my computer. So I don't need to open and close the browser, I can just move files the same way I would if I was saving them on my computer. Love that it syncs with multiple computers as well so there's no wait time with email documents, we just put them into dropbox and everyone immediately has access.

There's really not much I don't like about Dropbox. I would love to be able to create users and control what they have access to so that I could keep some folders private. Or another great features would be to have some folders password protected, that way I would be able to control who had the password and could access them.

We used to keep paper files of all our previous work but dropbox has replaced that completely. We are able to store and share all of our working files and archived files in the cloud, and they're easy to locate down the road, saving me tons of time going through paper files when I need to look into a previous project.

Dropbox provides our office with simple way to store our working files and archived files. It allows all of our employees to quickly and easily access and download working files and gives us the freedom to work from home when needed. It also provides a safe and secure way to share certain files with clients when needed.

Certain times (I believe after an update, but not 100% sure) it automatically tries to sync all the files and folders to my computer. This can be annoying to deal with, however, it is simple enough to turn the syncing off once you realize it's happening.

As an agency, we rely on Dropbox Business to manage all our client folders across devices and team members.

Dropbox Business makes it easy for our company to collaborate together on projects, share files, and access everything from any device.

The only problem we've found with Dropbox Paper is the initial setup. It will take a while (and a ton of bandwidth) to move your files to the cloud. But once you do, you will love it!

For obvious reasons, this is the most well-known cloud storage platform available. It pioneered the category and has been incredibly useful and valuable to many personal users, small businesses and more. Selective Sync is a great feature (when it works properly) which allows users to select only certain files to sync to their device from a large folder, rather than the root folders themselves. Team collaboration and the desktop app for Windows and OSX are serviceable, for the most part.

I get headaches when I create the endless laundry list of ways that Dropbox has fallen to the wayside compared to newer offerings like Box and Google Drive. Specifically for medium-sized businesses, I would absolutely NEVER recommend using Dropbox for teams with storage bases larger than ~500GB. Selective Sync rarely works properly, and by default, LAN Sync is enabled in the desktop app. You might think, that sounds great! LAN connection has to be faster than regular internet syncing, right? Absolutely not the case if you have more than 4 computers in a general range of one another and an internet speed of >30mpbs (standard in most businesses nowadays).

I use drop box as a backup of my critical work files and my study material. Dropbox offer assistance to ensure security fulfillment for sharing touchy records for associated partners within the computerized stage.

Dropbox is a small action which makes the big difference because it facilitates back up of Corporate and individual data or information effortlessly. Dropbox facilitates the provision of links to individuals that don't have access rights to download information from the account.

Dropbox Business has no counterfeit insights to recognize and group information on its own, it depends on the client or user to put records in an array.

Our main use for DropBox is storing all of our graphics and video content. We have massive files and content we’re consistently working with, and DropBox has made it so easy to have quick access (even when on mobile) for the whole team at any moment. This helps our collaboration as a team and has increased our productivity.

DropBox ease of use is hands down one of the best out there. We use it for both video and graphic storage, while accessing it both via web browser and as a local server. The ease of team collaboration and connectivity through hosting files is outstanding. Simply drag and drop your files into the folder(s) you want them in and bam, it’s there. DropBox is also extremely easy to manage while organizing files, especially across teams. One of the most simple and easy to use that I’ve come across. It’s helped our teams really dig in to better organization and keeping projects flowing and easy to access.

Our teams uses Dropbox for primarily storing files, but what I like least is the ability to integrate well with Google Drive. For all document related items our team uses Google Drive and I wish there was a better way to store those files within DropBox. You can download them and drop them in, but that’s just too many steps. There are ways to integrate the two, but the setup and integration doesn’t fit our needs at this moment.

No more local file server! Dropbox does what it sets out to do 99% of the time.

It's Dropbox! I remember when they first came out with the newfangled sync files between devices automatically. Now its grown into a major platform allowing businesses to move away from local hosted file storage and put their data in the cloud. I mean, it WORKS for the majority of use cases. Access your files anywhere.

MAJOR issues with "Smart Sync" feature and Mac OSX. Smart Sync lets you see files up on the cloud and browse within Mac OSX Finder app without downloading files and taking up space on your local hard drive until you need them. At least, thats how its supposed to work. It causes issues with Mac OSX where even though the files aren't locally stored Mac OSX will see them as taking up HDD space. Had back and forth for months with Dropbox support and it still an issue. I was really bothered by how they essentially launched a broken product feature for Macs. If you are a Mac OSX user and want to use Dropbox desktop app, I dont think I can recommend at this time.

Overall Dropbox does the trick but I prefer Box (which I haven't confirmed but I think has a better price). Whatever you decide I don't think you will be dissatisfied with Dropbox.

-All your teams content is in one place, making it easy to collaborate and focus on the work that matters most.

-I think its a little more expensive than Box (which is essentially the same product for $5.00/user)

Drop box has been a very important took for large scale projects that need updating by multiple people in real time. The ability to do so via desktop and mobile device app has been crucial for business collaboration.

Easy to use, nice portal interface to understand. The ability to create folders to share and live updates

Would like to see a few more features but overall it's a great way to share documents securely to an individual or group

Overall, Dropbox Business has been a great fit for our small team. We've been able to share and archive files across the team without worrying about whether the latest version of a file was stored on someone's local computer. We've solved the problems that come with emailing files back and forth. We've also heavily utilized the "File Request" feature when asking clients for project assets.

I love the way Dropbox behaves like a desktop app even though it runs in a web browser window. Drag and drop, keyboard shortcuts, and right-click context menus have a real desktop feel but with the convenience of web based software. I also love the automatic backup feature, which has saved my bacon on many occasions.

I don't fully understand the way file sharing works in the realm of permissions. Sometimes it seems like when inviting a guest to access files, the system forces them to sign up for a Dropbox account. It would be nice if they could just access as a guest without the extra step.

This question seems redundant. We use Dropbox to share documents company-wide. I also keep a separate folder that is just my documents that are stored and backed up.

With a company our size (50+) we can share documents. It is also great to be able to access your documents from any place! Also, your documents are SAFE. My computer crashed last year and everything in DropBox was fine.

There is a limit to space use Drop Box. I'm not sure if we need to pay more money to get more space.

My experience with dropbox business is that I keep all of my codes synced between my laptop and desktop computers and between different operating systems.

The dropbox business gives you 2TB to keep your files online everywhere with you

The cons with this app is that it can not be used as a virtual drive.

I have had a very good experience with DropBox Business for five years now. I recommend it as a storage platform on the Internet and as the best alternative to save audiovisual content and important documents.

Everything. Dropbox Business is my favorite resource for saving documents in the cloud. I like the interface because it's simple and everything is in sight. It's easy to handle and I love the way I can organize my folders alphabetically or by storage space. The free version only offers me two GB but the paid plans are wonderful to increase the space. The mobile version is excellent and fast to operate.

I personally haven't had any issues with Dropbox Business. I know that sometimes it has inconveniences with security and file transfer, but it has not been my case. I would like there to be another way to categorize my folders, such as order of importance or date of use.

I work remote so I use Dropbox to access documents from both my laptop and my smart phone. It allows me the freedom to only have my phone and still access what I need. I also love the scanning feature that allows me to scan document directly into my files. eg. business receipts!

I love how easy Dropbox is to use. I can have documents on my laptop and my phone and have access to them at anytime. I work remote and sometimes need to do things quickly from my smart phone (iPhone() and Dropbox allows me to do that.

My only complaint about Drobox is that I can't send a document as an attachment. It sends a link. Now, this could be a user error on my end, but I have not spent enough time trying to learn how to send a document as an attachment. So, if that is a feature you are looking for, do more research!

With Dropbox business we can collaborate on document creation, quickly share documents and have all of our work where ever we go (we have lot of traveling).

These are few thing that are great and what makes Dropbox great software: ease of use, great integration with Windows, possibility to have collaboration with my colleagues on documents that we create daily for our work, enough cloud storage...

Online user interface could be more friendly.

There's really no company that does it better when it comes to instant large file sharing and storage than Dropbox. It has been the tool for so many aspects of my business and file storing. It works wonders for things such as music catalog storage and showcasing. Its an important tool for many and will only continue to grow its value, especially with continued growth and progression with the tool itself.

Dropbox Business brings an innovative way to store and transfer files of all types, within the scope of a team, organization, or even an individual. Being allowed 3 TBs of space even with Business' standard package is more than enough for the vast majority of individuals and smaller businesses. The instant ability to upload and share, as well as SmartSync features that allow instant sync between file changes that happen on your computer to your Dropbox account are extremely key features in making Dropbox Business stand out as a whole. Allowing a free trial for these packages is also a big plus.

Dropbox should continue to incorporate ways to share files even when ones account is full or their subscription has ended. For example, many of us have multiple Dropbox accounts and files may have been shared to a full account. There should be a way to add this file/folder to an account that isn't full through some type of linked system within our own network of Dropbox accounts. This would defeat the hassle of having someone have to resend files to a totally different Dropbox account. The addtiion of music metadata editing may also be a good incorporation.

Dropbox helped us reduce the amount of paper that was used in our office while also it increased response time for otherwise slower interactions across the board.

Dropbox for business is the best file sharing tool that we ever used in my former workplace. We could easily add and remove users as well as view invoices all from the admin interface while All Connected devices can easily be viewed from the admin end.

Security is solely from dropbox since service is cloud-based which can put some organization at risk with their sensitive data been exposed to dropbox owner’s end.

The team we work with dropbox has used it extensively for collaboration and sharing of files across multiple targets. Also the new Paper usage is a new and learning experience.

Features like sharing, sharing through collaboration, the functionalities provided when the usage of dropbox is as an Individual or as a team, the recent advent of the "Paper". The Paper seeks to change the way we see ideas can grow. Jot the ideas on the fly could be the better way of describing 'paper'.

The pricing is slight high - compared to other cloud spaces like Box.com or even the late Copy.com Though providing space as like the copy.com is something not feasible or possible in the current world; but the price tags of Dropbox especially for the business is slight exagerrating.

Dropbox Business exclusively provides sync for Linux Client. Two-Factor authentication help to protect our account in case of stolen password. Enterprise-Grade access management is easy to understand even for end-user or client who is using it for first time.

Dropbox Business provides a file hosting and synchronization for managing the work professionally. The multiple storage plan can be selected according to the requirement of the product. File versioning helps in recovering to the previous version of file. Shared link can be protected with the password and expiry dates. Admin dashboard helps in monitoring the team activity and auditing the connected device and roles. 24x7 support always helps in providing the solution.

The link settings feature control comes with the professional version only. If we compare the Dropbox with the other competitor it looks expensive if we only compare the space.

I highly recommend Dropbox Business after trial version for 1 month. The only obstacle preventing me is my 2 year prepaid nonrefundable account with Carbonite, which I paid far too much for far too little Gb storage. When my Carbonite account is about to expire, I will be immediately switching to Dropbox. I never knew there existed another faster better easier platform to save my server files until I met Dropbox Business. And the price is unbeatable. Value is undeniable. Most users have some familiarity with Dropbox; but too few know of Carbonite which doesn't allow sharing and downloading/ retrieving files literally takes a full day just for a single folder. My only concern would be Dropbox Business' vulnerability to hackers. Other than that, I wish I could switch right now.

Easy to access files, fast download and upload of files, ability to access files across all my electronic devices including iphone, laptop, pc, tablets, software compatible with apple ios and easy interface (the choice for Dropbox is right there). Dropbox's presence is big and they have come back with a dominating presence.

No tutorials on how to use all the various features, or terms dictionary to understand what some of those features mean, so I did not feel like I was able to take advantage of all that Dropbox Business had to offer. I tried calling customer service to get a better understanding of certain benefits, and they were knowledgeable and helpful, to an extent. There's only so much they can do over the phone to explain, but far better would be a video or online written tutorial.

Since using Drop box, our entire staff is on the same page when making decisions! Drop box makes it so easy to share documents, edits and conversations. I LOVE that it tells me who is looking at what document and when they looked at it! This has made managing my crew a dream!

Dropbox has been a lifesaver for our company! We are a small business with a total staff of 8 people year round and a total of 22 people in our high season. Our business in located in a National Park so we have to do SO MUCH DOCUMENTATION!! Between contracts, employee/environmental/safety policies, and just everything we have to submit to the Park, We have so many documents coming and going from review. Dropbox has made that process amazingly easy and completely taken out the headache.

I don't consider myself a tech genius but I am savvy. It did take me a minute to figure out how to add employees and get dropbox set up for our company but a few youtube videos made it fairly simple.

Communicating shared data, images and video with office and field staff, but in read only and read/write modes is invaluable for business operations and knowledge sharing. The software does what is expected with no problems and great performance. The addition of allowing unlimited devices against a single account makes the software so much more cost effective for field staff just needing to access folders with a large number of reference documents on a read-only basis.

Dropbox for Business has always been highly useful cloud storage software, but recent changes have made the software both more functional and more cost effective:

The granularity of control over access to a folder could be improved. Read vs Read/Write is too simplistic of access control. I would like to see more fine access control (like sending a file to a true blind dropbox, submitting a file for approval to be posted, and ability to add or modify files but not allow creation of subfolders).

Let's admit it.. there are a ton of similar services available out there. Some may be much cheaper or more integrated with other apps we already use... But, there's just something about Dropbox (as a company) and how they do things that keep us loyal to them.

Loyal Dropbox fan year. I really have no complaints. I believe in the company since the day I was invited to sign-up for a personal 2 GB space.

We use an Excel workbook for estimating that is approximately 20 MB. It was clogging up our system and email server because we use it for approximately 5000 client contracts a year. Since moving over to dropbox has allowed us to see us worrying about the file size and made sharing a breeze. We have a series of files that the estimate moves through from out in the field through final completion. Immediately upon giving the client a proposal our system automatically is updated and we know everything from pricing to material takeoff to manpower. The problems it has solved the most is the satisfaction of knowing that my files have not been damaged although my hard drive, yes, then worth every penny invested, I lost nothing, gain experience, Dropbox can be trusted.

This is the cloud that has saved my photos, videos, pdf, Microsoft Office more than once when my computer has failed and I find the files in dropbox because the folders like Documents and the ones you add with just put the files there automatically uploads only have to install the program and add the folders you want to keep backed up.

I always use it to back up Microsoft Office files, PDF, PNG photos and JPG, I've even backed up videos but that takes a long time to upload but at least it doesn't congest my internet connection like Google DRIVE does.

When we first started out and our marketing team began to develop assets and content for different promotions throughout the year, our email system was quickly overworked as images and other large files were being sent from person to person. I had been using Dropbox personally for a few years and began utilizing my Dropbox to facilitate the image sharing in my conversations at work. It wasn't long before our executive team realized that I was the only one that could seem to get messages with large files sent!

Absolutely easy to use!

If there is a negative side to Dropbox, I can say that I haven't found it yet. Perhaps more storage space for the cost?

I work in an industry where client docs are (a) voluminous, (b) sensitive, and (c) always changing. And I work on the road or from home a lot. So Dropbox is a total game changer--simply put, if it weren't for Dropbox, I'd be way more tied to my desk, way more stressed about the safety of my data, and would lose hours of time every year to saving/tracking/recovering old versions. There are a couple things that frustrate me from time to time (see above), but overall it's a phenomenal product and in my experience the best of the various file-management-in-the-cloud products. I don't know how I ever lived without it.

I love having the confidence that what I see on my computer file system is securely stored off in the cloud--along with past versions and backups. The peace of mind is fantastic. So, I guess what I like most is: high level of data security, ease of synchronizing across platforms, automatic versioning, relative ease of sharing documents with clients and collaborators.

I do wish the web interface was easier to navigate--same for versioning and collaboration. I usually access my company's Dropbox directly from my Mac's file system, and don't do a ton of collaboration, so it's normally a non-issue--but yeah, the web interface takes some getting used to. I also wish there were an option to quickly and easily share document files rather than links--sometimes you want to share a link, but often you don't want the recipient to have any kind of access to the dropbox file and don't want to have to mess with permissions and stuff. This would be particularly helpful on the mobile app.

Absolute stress-reliever that ensures you'll never lose your docs again and always have access anywhere with wifi/4g.

I love that I don't have to drag my clunky work laptop around because I know all of my docs are in the cloud. As a rule of them I keep my dropbox folder shortcut on my desktop so that everything I work on is immediately dragged and saved in there. If I'm out of office and don't have my computer, no worries! I just log in with my credentials on a different machine and pull what I need. The business aspect of dropbox makes this even better because it's easier to collaboratively share necessary docs with your team.

Not much. Do wish they want as deep as the google sweet with allowing you work on on docs directly in collaboration with coworkers but it looks like they're working to get up to speed on this. I just think Google does a better job only if collaboration on single docs is a priority to you.

It is solving the problem of being able to work on live files anywhere at anytime and knowing when they were last updated. It allows for users to make changes and edit files across the country or out of the country and users can still see the changes and continue working pretty quickly.

Its ease of use for multiple users and sharing files in real time from remote locations. It has made our business function very well and able to effectively collaborate as a team to complete work in a timely fashion.

I don't like the badge that informs users if others are in the plans. It is not always effective and often times doesn't work properly and you end up with conflicted copies without even knowing. I wish this would be fixed to work flawlessly as it is a major factor when looking into files knowing someone else is in there and not wasting time doing work that needs to be edited later.

As a teacher, I share a lot of files from my lectures, and with Dropbox, I just need to create a group, and put the files inside. As easy as this! For my students, they only need to follow the link, and easelly access the files. And for me, the integration of Dropbox with MAC OS interface is the best thing. Just need to click the file, and share! No need to open any folder or software.

The simplicity of the multi-OS platform is top. I can access and edit wherever I want, and quickly see the changes in every other location. It's a very powerful tool to share files and to implement on business. And for me, the best tool is the integration with every "send to" menu on various platforms (MAC, PC, ANDROID...).

For non comercial users, the size of dropbox should be greater. There are other offers on the market (with not so intuitivelly software) with free sizes of 50GB. Today, simple files or shares, uses lot of space. And with dropbox size, we are very limited.

I have a free personal DropBox account which I use for photo and file storage and another business account I use to share files and collaborate with my remote team. Both have been very useful and extremely satisfying to date. Google Drive is a close contender-which I personally use too since I'm on Android. Overall, I would recommend business owners and remote workers to use DropBox as it has been a constant player in this field and it keeps its game up to date.

I love how DropBox makes it easy to collaborate and share files, especially for us remote workers.

I guess so far, I'm pretty satisfied with the app and the service.

Team members can upload files from anywhere and other members have instant access to them. If I revise a spreadsheet, it's saved in Dropbox for anyone who needs the information. So easy to have all the information from different departments on one project in one place.

I love the ease of collaboration with Dropbox for Business. Files can be kept private or you can choose who you want to have access to the files. So easy to create a new folder then just drag files into it. Arrange your filing system according to your needs. Send an invitation to someone outside of your team to have access to a file and upload documents also. The mobile app is the BEST and SIMPLEST at capturing a clear photo and dropping it into a folder.

I like everything about this software! It's easy to use, cost effective and does what we need it to do.

I was not involved in the purchase of Dropbox for our company so I can't talk about the pricing, but as an enduser I am extremely happy.

I love how the Dropbox application allows us to save files to a folder as if it were on your local harddrive and have them sync automatically to the cloud. This allows us to collaborate on projects (using Avid Pro Tools, etc) where our team is working with multiple files as part of a project from different locations.

If you want files in the cloud for sharing, but not stored locally on your hard drive, it takes a little work to dig into the settings to manually deselect syncing of a specific folder. Before I learned this, I had several large video files autosync to my local harddrive without me realizing it. Now that I know what to do, it's not a big deal.

Dropbox have revolutionized the way we do business. We have been able to not only streamline our business practices, but we are saving hundreds of dollars in ink and paper costs, not to mention using much less paper, which is better for the environment.

I am the assistnt tot a real estate agent, and Dropbox has truly allowed us to take our business mobile. Prior to using Dropbox, we had large file folders full of paperwork that my boss carried around in her car with her. If I needed access to any of the files, she would need to scan and email them to me. Once I implemented Dropbox, we immediately saw results. We spent less time trying to navigate and negotiate hard copy files, and more time acquiring new business. Between implementing Dropbox and a digital signature program, we saw an amazing increase in our efficiency and we were able to do more deals in less time.

One of the things I dislike is how Dropbox will not save my bosses login information on her iPhone. It may be user error, however it is a bit clunky to have to enter login information every time she needs to view files. Also, with the app it is hard to see complete file names. This becomes a problem for us, especially because we start out the name of each file with the address of the property. As a result, the rest of the file name is cut off and it is hard to find what we need.

I worked in an advertising company and had to send many files from the art creation office to the printing workshop and it was always easy and safe to use dropbox to meet the business need and finally the customer satisfaction.

Dropbox is an excellent app and everybody can use it. I think that you use an App in order to do a work more easy and more quickly and them you would have more time to do another things. Dropbox even allows you to run another task at the same time you upload files, you can share a lots files from your acount at the same time.

So far I have not found disadvantages in this application since there are many advantages of use.

Dropbox is great as a sharing and source of truth tool, where the live or 'up to date' version of documents can be stored and shared easily. As an archive of reference point for projects, learning resources, or other documents, Dropbox does the job.

Syncing is painful - when other people upload videos it can slow the internet down for everyone in the office. Laptop storage also diminishes quickly even if we select which folders to sync, because *new* folders are added and sync automatically.

Dropbox is one of my all time favorite tools. Every small to medium business should use it.

The most successful software are ones that you don't notice and Dropbox is one of the best examples of that. I use files just like I would use files that are on my computer and it's absolutely seamless. It has made our team more efficient and effective. Particularly with Smart Sync. Now files don't even need to sit on my computer until I use them. It's really incredible.

I've run into one issue with Smart Sync. When I'm opening and Adobe InDesign file, I get a warning that the file is open on someone else's computer and needs to be closed before I can open it. I'm the only one using that file. I have to go to the Smart Sync settings for that file and choose local storage in order to open it. Not a huge deal but something that needs working out.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has a need of storing or sharing larger files.

I use Dropbox constantly for my graphic design work - freelance and professionally. It has many convenient features that make sharing with clients or personal storage easy. I store a variety of types of files, such as Adobe files, high res photographs, and large zip files. I pay per month for 1TB of storage and have only used a fraction of the space, while having used it as my permanent storage unit for a multitude of files for a number of years now. They even have an app you can download and access all of your files directly from your desktop which is convenient if you have the space on your hard drive. I think the most useful and invaluable aspect of this product is sharing large files, or many files at once, over email.

My only [small] complaint would regard a recent update that changed the user interface slightly. Upon entering, the home screen shows "most recent" files, instead of "all files/folders" initially - and I would prefer it showed all files up front. Just adds one more click to get to all of your files and folders, but overall a very small obstacle and mostly a personal preference.

Dropbox is very easy to use and works well with all of my devices, whether Windows, Android or iOS based. Setting up syncing (what to sync and where to sync it) is a snap. And sharing files is simple, but secure. I give Dropbox my highest recommendation.

Excellent integration with Plex Pass and numerous other apps. Unlike other cloud services that I have used, I have never encountered a problem streaming an HD (1080p) video file from Dropbox via Plex, either as regards latency or download speed.

Slower than desired uploads of large (> 1 GB) files. My ISP provides me with 10 Mbps upload speed maximum, but I achieve only a fraction of that when uploading a large file to Dropbox. Dropbox claims that slow upload speed is caused at the client end, but I beg to differ. Nevertheless, slow upload speed is common with virtually all cloud services, and Dropbox is typical in that regard.

Dropbox is a very good app would be hard to see something negative, but. Dropbox gives us a free plan with a gigabyte (GB) limit. if you want to store a lot of information or several archives that consume many GB as audios and videos. you would have to buy a plan that gives us more GB or TerasByte and this could be expensive

Peace of mind knowing that Dropbox Business is in charge of my files. Also unlike other file storage options, Dropbox is fast, easy to navigate, and constantly evolving to improve its features.

A big advantage for Dropbox Business is its ever growing API offerings, which supports a variety of programming languages and the technologies it integrates with.

Disadvantage of Dropbox Business. Slow tech support or lack of built-in editing, although Dropbox Paper has this feature to pick up the slack on that issue.

The best feature about DropBox, in my opinion, is its cross-platform support. Apple's iCloud works well if you only use Apple devices, and Microsoft's OneDrive works well on Microsoft devices, but DropBox works equally well across all platforms. It may not be as integrated into the OS as Apple's or Microsoft's offerings are, but if you need to share documents in a multi-platform environment, DropBox can't be beat. They are very generous with their free storage, and this is likely adequate for anyone's private needs. In fact, it's more generous than Apple of Microsoft, so that point alone makes it a valuable product. Syncing is seamless, and it's easy to share specific files or directories.

The built-in notes capability is a little weak. Apple's Notes app is *far* better, though limited to Apple platforms. I would assume that OneNote is also better, but have no first-hand experience with it.

Dropbox has been a blessing to me. Whenever I have to send large files to my work colleagues, I just make a dropbox link and then send the link to my work mates who can then download the file from their laptop. I can even make the link protected by allowing access to specific people ensuring maximum security and reliability. An easy to use software and it gets sets up without any hassle. Anyone can use it!

Dropbox is the easiest and safest way to save all your personal data whether being PDF files, documents or pictures. Everything is password protected so safety and security is guaranteed. Extremely simple to use and operate. The outlay and theme of the software makes this application more interesting. When I am traveling, I can even use Dropbox' mobile application to save files to my personal dropbox account. This Dropbox account is linked to my company's email address so it helps me in keeping a back up of all relevant data files. I can even save complete folders instead of individual files making my life easier

Dropbox creates a special folder on the user's computer, the contents of which are then synchronized to Dropbox's servers and to other computers and devices that the user has installed Dropbox on, keeping the same files up-to-date on all devices. Dropbox uses a freemium business model, where users are offered a free account with a set storage size, with paid subscriptions available that offer more capacity and additional features.

With 1TB of storage per user pooled among the company, Dropbox has totally removed space anxiety. We have lots of large design files and no longer have to worry about running out of space. They have added great file retention features that will keep deleted files indefinitely, and auditing to pull records of when files were accessed, deleted or modified. The new Smart Sync feature has really helped with local storage in the age of small SSDs.

The desktop app for the Mac has been problematic the the latest releases of macOS. It requires extra system permissions that are not easy to get to for the average user and if those fail to run you get a sub-par desktop experience. Sync times can be long and the desktop app seems to struggle with big teams with lots of folders.

Overall, DropBox is a create tool for anyone needing a central online storage repository for their files. The amount of storage that you get won't be enough to back up all your photos and videos, but it will function very well as document storage that you access from any device.

DropBox is very easy to use. The process to obtain an account and start saving files is seamless. The DropBox folder shows up automatically from File Explorer, so that you can manipulate files there or online. DropBox is also totally compatible with Microsoft applications, so when you open an Excel document, it opens in Excel (this is not true in Google Drive). The interface to use DropBox is very friendly and they are a well-established company.

The only con that I have for DropBox is the small amount of memory that they start you out with. You are able to build this amount by adding access for people to your files, and other tasks that build storage. But it feels like a game. Our non-profit group used DropBox for our central file location, but we started having trouble with people not being able to access the files because they didn't have enough storage space. This was happening for two reasons 1) they either had access to so many organization files that it used all their space; or 2) since they were using their personal email account for their DropBox account, their personal files in combination with the organization's folders exceeded their storage amount. To remedy this, we are encouraging people to create an additional dedicated email to use for the DropBox account to use JUST FOR our organizations files. We also decided to move to Google Drive because they start you out with a considerably higher amount of storage. (BUT, you run into weirdness opening Microsoft apps directly from Google Drive, which is frustrating).

With Dropbox we were able to setup a solution that allowed our employees to access client files whether they are in the office or not. This has helped us keep files organized and communicate with clients faster. It is extremely convenient when we can logon to find a client's file instantly wherever we are.

The Dropbox app puts a local folder on your computer that you can use to access the Dropbox files. It will also give you helpful notifications whenever a user has made changes to a folder or file.

The native web app for Dropbox is difficult to navigate. Specifically, it is difficult to preview files quickly and efficiently. Navigating the document tree is also time consuming, and the more folders you create to try and keep organized, the more difficult browsing with the web app becomes.
