I have no issues with it so far.
Android App is PLUS point which has a irritating notification tone but catches agent's attention. That's what we need. We never bothered about changing the sound.
New, updated design of the dashboard provides the analytics kind of data which contains the average session time and the total session, visitors' real-time data to us. The tool let us show the visitors along with the prospects which are categorized in active, served and idle. You can fill the lead generation form in the same tool if you have set up it properly.
Least like is the mobile app. I have faced problem while chatting it with the visitors. It really takes much time to load and start the chat as this is faced by me everyday.
Tawk.to is the best chat application on the market right now, and it's FREE! You can add it to your site in 2 minutes, add as many agents as you want, create canned responses, create tickets right on the dashboard. And if you are a designer or manage multiples companies, you can have one account that admin all of them!
There are really no cons for this platform, it's FREE, super flexible, and if you still want to pay something, you can hire agents to be online 24/7
Tawk.to can actually do better by adding more premium features like auto responses to common inquiries.
We use Tawk.To on both of our websites and we are very happy with the service. It took less than 5 minutes to set up on our site and start using. Tawk.to offers a mobile app and browser notification system so it's easy to see and respond to chat messages throughout the day even if I am not at my computer. They also offer offline messaging, pre-composed scripts, and prompts to get people talking. Overall we have really loved the service and we feel it helps our customers connect on our site.
I haven't found anything I don't like, it works great and it's free so I can't complain!
It can be buggy, and it can be complicated. Honestly, Tawk.to has so many features, more than we need, and I feel some of that effort could instead go into making the website and app more reliable and easy to use. There are so many settings that it's easy to get lost trying to figure out what is what. For example, there have been a handful of times where our live chat is just turned off for days at a time before we notice it and we have to go in and figure out why. User management can be complicated. The app is not the easiest to use either. But, I really can't complain because I am benefiting from it all for free.
With the free plan, it includes three agents for a customer service team which is great considering Tidio's offer. Besides you can check whether user looking at your webpage with the proxy or from where you have guests. Also, reporting features help you to understand your target audience.
Sometimes the software gives the notifications lately. Even though the free plan is great but paid subscriptions are expensive. Customization is not well arranged.
That you can review historic conversations and see messages users are typing before they send them, this helps you prepare a prompt response and anticipate their doubts.
The fact that I get logged out of the app without knowing, sometimes we don't know we have been logged out and we've missed a couple of chats
Tawk.to is a free chat plugin which you can use for chat with your customers or visitor at any plate form or your own build html or php website. Tawk.to has a simple dashboard with easy control and also provide easy customization environment. I was used for long time this plugin on my site.
There some limitation in Tawk.to plugin e.g. limit of users in free version and back links but I my personally though is that this is not matter because the quality of service is better than other chat service providers.
That I have to pay to remove their branding.. LOL! But considering the number of features we get for free, we should really not complain!
It is free and easy enough to use. Comparable competing software isnt free.
The Scheduler is a mess. If you dont us the scheduler and have multiple agents, someone may forget to log out and you cant determine who it is and your chat will remain activated. The only alternative is to then use the scheduler and set specific hours. But if you do that then your chat will be deactivated outside of those specific hours, even if an agent logs in. If you want to work non-fixed schedules, you have to keep adjusting the scheduler every time.
I really like the simple integration with our wordpress based website and the iOS app support. Now staff can keep in touch with clients no matter what.
A bit clanky of an interface online and not always intuitive. Knowlegebase feature could be improved.
It's free. It's functional and it's elegant! You can manage more than one chat interface from one account and you can customize the look and feel of each instance of the chat bot.
It loads fast but not fast enough. Sometimes it slows my website loading time a tad. Not a big deal but can be improved. Also having some AI would be awesome, like a robot to answer a certain question and if it fails to help the visitor, the visitor would speak to a human.
What is there not to like about this software.
There is nothing that I do not like with this tool. The only thing is that they should provide more ways to display the chat engine on our website.

Tawk.to is the simplest online chat application I've ever installed to a website. It's admin is also very intuitive, even if you are managing multiple businesses with multiple sites.

You cannot customize the placement of the chatbot on a given webpage beyond the 4 corners of a given page, the mobile app for managing incoming chats is rather clunky and is not great at indicating if someone already took care of something.
I think it seems to work well. Good for setting auto-replies if we don't make the chat in time. All around we like it.
I don't like that it doesn't keep you logged in and that the email reminder for missed chats comes in quite late.

No really cons I can think of. A suggestion would be a time schedule that you can coordinate with business hours instead of having to log on or off each time.
I have been using Tawk.to for the past 3 years now. They are the first chat app system that I ever know that implement an auto-respond whenever you're not online. You add a chat to your website and let your customers talk to you live. Either on your eCommerce online store website or company website.
With this website, you can convert your traffic to paying customers. Get a full detail of where they chatting from, the current page they are on your website and also transfer them to another support team.
I know it is free but certain customization are chargeable. Could you at least make the design part free so we can change the look and feel without paying extra. Remove branding as well for a permanent one time fee
An easy way to enhance our website is through a chat tool, and one of the best is taw.to, it is very easy to install and use. Its administrative panel allows to control in an organized way the communication with the users that visit our web, besides we can configure forms with welcome messages and add the fields that we create are useful to establish the communication, for example in my case I usually request the name, email, and phone.
Actually this tool pleases me a lot, but sometimes there are flaws in the browser and we can lose communication, but it is not serious in most cases I usually solve easily by reloading the browser or starting a session again

At first, it is not easy to understand the operation of the chat and the options in the left sidebar. The application is really excellent, but it can be a bit more intuitive

This enables you even to personalise your chat thus increasing customer service. Offers its own tawkto icon on the free version chat and the flexibility to personalize once you pay. The free version is really incredible especially their features of adding someone else for support.
They add ons are pricey and not worth the amount you will need to pay
The backend is incredibly confusing. I never know which site I'm administrating or how to find what I'm looking for. I mean, compared to the great front end, this is really pretty embarrassing for them. It would be a nightmare, I imagine, for any agency administering more than a few sites.
It bridges the gap from people who might not be ready to call but still would like to ask a question. also people at work or who don't like to talk on the phone prefer to type rather than talk

After trying dozens of services, I chose Tawk because it is the most complete. You can literally customize everything for a very low cost. Tawk allows you to manage the chats your organization has with customers, evaluate them, supervise your customer service employees and have a perfect mobile application. Application that works in real time and very easy to use.
The application works very well and most of its features are free but a more modern interface would be appreciated.

It's not the software's fault but you do get some occasional idiots on web chat. One guy messaged "hello" then continued with the rest of the lyrics for the Lionel Ritchie song - very odd.

It is one of the best online chat, it is very useful we can use it for free with very good features. It is a great tool to be in contact with customers through the website, we can clarify any questions they have and we can also generate sales, it is very intuitive and easy to use and we can keep a record of all the chats of each client.
Sometimes communication is interrupted and I have solved by closing the session and reopening it, I have also reloaded the web browser in some cases.
Obviously, on the free version you can't customize everything as you wish for. But if you pay you can.
It helped me to gain the inbound leads from 25 to more than 100 per month. Previously, there were many website visitors coming but leaving the website without putting query/inquiry, but now with the help of tawk.to we can chat and gather all the requirements by giving quick chat support.
Once i have used the paid version of this tool, but the kind of team they have given was not as per our expectations. Infact, it is easy to take care of the chat by inhouse member rather than their paid support. That's the only thing i didn't like, otherwise this tool is the best among rest.
There are hardly any negatives about tawk.to. The chat software is simple, non-intrusive, and ready to be of use when need be. The only negative, which should be taken with a grain of salt as it is such a minor detail, is that the incoming text of the consumer can occasionally come in sporadically, or a brief one or two second time pause between existing and currently being written text. It was a free software that allowed us to add chat communication to our website. Tawk.to was easy to add to our website as well. Being able to jump into the middle of coworkers chats to assist or just whisper to them is great as well. It is one of the best chat I have used for my websites, it is very useful and easy to use, it allows me to establish communication with potential clients quickly. The administration panel is very intuitive and allows us to analyze the visits and chats that are made on the web, we can also use it from our smart phone by downloading the app.
On some occasions I had to restart the browser, close the chat session and open it again because it has failed, but it's nothing to worry about, it's still one of the best online chat tools.

I came to know about this software years ago when we were having great website visitation but our sales was low. One of the issues I have with tawk.to is it's sophisticated backend which can be confusing to non technical people. I have to take my clients through a mini tutorial on how to install the software .
It is completely free to use (no hidden cost). Clients can create tickets through Tawk.to which is very handy. They have apps for mobile and PC, which makes answering efficient and easy. Overall, they are pretty reliable.
Spam-wise they are not doing a very good job. I had customers sending pictures of themselves and other random things. I don't know if there is much to do about that. When left unattended it becomes idle pretty quickly.
ticketing system for offline message is not quite good
The first one it's free and with a free plan, it just works perfectly with my small business. I can chat with multiple visitors at the same time which is very good. I use Wordpress based website and it's so easy to install and set up this app. I also can see from which country they are from.
The chat notification seems delayed for 2 to 4 minutes, sometimes it keeps kicking me from the chat and the dashboard is so confusing for newbie or non-techinal people.
Tawk.to is a tool that helps to offer live support for your customers. It offers the extension free of charge. More than that Tawk.to offers tracking solutions for your webpage meaning that you can see how many visitors checked out your webpage and how long they stayed in. Besides you can see which location follows your webpage.
Sometimes there happen small errors meaning that the extension in the webpage may disappear. The support team is helpful but they are not so fast.
It has a very easily accessible and easy to understand click path. You know exactly where a customer is on your website so you can really help them effectively.

I love that I can use it anywhere I have a device. I can answer questions on my website that customers and potential customers need to know. I have been able to save a ton of time by answering multiple live chats at a time and providing support, eliminating a staffing gap that we had.
Sometimes it can get a little buggy and ping my device multiple times, especially if I am on a mobile hotspot. I think it is mostly due to connectivity issues and not directly with the software.
Tawk to makes it easy to chat with your clients. It offers great product features like the multiple chatting with different users at the same. Ever since we've been using tawk.to on our site, we've recorded massive leads over time. The software is easy to use and to set up with lots of great features like adding other members of a department to join a conversation among other things. I simply love it!
I think agents shouldn't have to go on the tawk.to website to be online on their own website. An easier way should be created for this purpose.
Nearly everything in tawk.to is fully free. Only pay to remove branding or for some advanced features. The interface is quite nice to work with and it's rather very easy to get set up with and use. Customer support is really friendly too!
The user interface feels just a little bit dull, and lacks the modern interface of competing apps. I can't really complain, as the platform is free!
I can easily see how many people are on our website, initiate chats with them, and respond to chats that a person has started on their own.
We do have the occasional problem of the desktop app crashing when you haven't been using it all day, but a quick restart of the program completely fixes it. I know that Tawk.to are looking it, so I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

The dashboard is challenging for beginners and non-technical users. In my experience, new users also have challenges understanding that tawk.to is hosted on a different location than the website from which the chats are coming from.

My favorite feature is that I can easily take over conversations from my agents even when I am on the go with their mobile app. They have also added the support ticketing system where my agents can escalate certain customer concerns to me if they are unable to resolve them.
Canned notifications cannot be edited via the mobile app. It will be nice to have this feature because sometimes I might need to make edits on the fly.
Tawk is a free to use website Live Chat Platform where I can message my website visitors and solve their queries on the spot. I have an education institute for which I use it and I usually initiate chats with the visitors which in most of the cases turns in to leads.

Tawk.to is abysmal at sorting large amount of messages. If you are planing to be constantly talking to multiple people or having multiple staff members be involved you will quickly get overwhelmed by the unintuitive UI.
Tawk.to is a great way for small businesses to operate like a big business. We use the Business hours chat. The chat agents are always open to ask us questions so that they can provide the best reponses to our customer.
I wish they offered a phone service. I've made the suggestion. Fingers crossed!
this is the best Live Chat Support, i can easily get in conact with my site visitors and this application track down the viditors coming into my sites just like the Google Analytics app.

The best thing about Tawk.to chat is not that you do not need to pay for it, but the number of features and productivity it offers. Usually there are some big and minor issues with free software, but Tawk.to is an exeption. This chat platform has everyting you need and expect from a communication software.

It has a great free plan. You can customize the colors of the chat and widget. It has an app for your phone and computer to stay connected with customers. It can respond automatically if prompted to. It can also alert you when you have a website visitors.
I really didn’t dislike much about this app except that to add certain features you had to pay monthly for those specific features. They should just include all for 1 price.
For a startup with small funds it was difficult to afford expensive chat systems on our website but this was one thing we absolulely needed as customers wanted to talk to a human when they got to our site. Tawk to solved this so efficiently. Not only did they provide this service for free (yes there is a paid tier also and one where they provide you with CC agents). Their chat widget is extremely easy to install, supports wordpress and customizable. To top it all they even provide an Android app which I use when I am travelling to talk to visitors on my website.
There is an issue with their mobile app as it does not always notifies you when someone is on the site. Though this is not a common occurance, still its not non-existent either. Another thing is that their web dashboard is a bit cluttered, atleast that is how I feel. They could give a little thought to the UI and UX of their website’s dashboard.
With WP, Joomla, and support for most of the software, this is my first choice for a live support system. I am using this on my WordPress website and from my desktop app. This is really simple and easy to use. Pre-define chats make my support simpler. I started using it for my personal blog few years ago and still it is an awesome and never gave any problems. IF you need a an awesome chat which is simple to integrate that tawk is for you, and more of all it is absolutely free.
White lebel pricing is per monthly basic which is a bit more for starter like me.I would like to see one time plans for white lebel.
You can do nearly everything in their free tier. Customization is pretty robust, with multi-lingual support as well. Integrating into any website requires no coding knowledge at all, and it also has plugins for most popular web platforms (WordPress, etc.)
Managing notifications can be a bit confusing, and the desktop app for Windows has some bugs (crashes, blank screens, etc.)

I find that the addons can be quite expensive, especially since you have to purchase them on a per widget basis rather than per account.
