It's totally free (no hidden charges) to use as Chat support on website.

Android App is PLUS point which has a irritating notification tone but catches agent's attention. That's what we need. We never bothered about changing the sound.

All over experience is good. Live chat with your visitor and take their details to fill up the lead generation form. Barge in between the chat to talk something to your college is the best part of it...

New, updated design of the dashboard provides the analytics kind of data which contains the average session time and the total session, visitors' real-time data to us. The tool let us show the visitors along with the prospects which are categorized in active, served and idle. You can fill the lead generation form in the same tool if you have set up it properly.

Least like is the mobile app. I have faced problem while chatting it with the visitors. It really takes much time to load and start the chat as this is faced by me everyday.

You can add it to your site in 2 minutes, add as many agents as you want, create canned responses, create tickets right on the dashboard. And if you are a designer or manage multiples companies, you can have one account that admin all of them!

There are really no cons for this platform, it's FREE, super flexible, and if you still want to pay something, you can hire agents to be online 24/7

I use tawk.to for one of my Australian clients and the free basic tool itself is really good. It allows you to converse with prospects and clients seamlessly. Even the basic features are really superb. I would recommend it to start-ups who wants to have a chat app tool integrated to their website.

Tawk.to can actually do better by adding more premium features like auto responses to common inquiries.

Using Tawk.to has helped us find and fix small glitches on our sites. When customers can speak directly to us to let us know if they are having trouble or if something isn't clearly explained it makes it much easier for us to help them quickly. We've found this boosts sales and people really appreciate us being available.

We use Tawk.To on both of our websites and we are very happy with the service. It took less than 5 minutes to set up on our site and start using. Tawk.to offers a mobile app and browser notification system so it's easy to see and respond to chat messages throughout the day even if I am not at my computer. They also offer offline messaging, pre-composed scripts, and prompts to get people talking. Overall we have really loved the service and we feel it helps our customers connect on our site.

I haven't found anything I don't like, it works great and it's free so I can't complain!

It's free! When you run a business, you can't afford to pay for 30+ software programs that aren't critical to your business. Live chat isn't a HUGE part of my business... so I can't rationalize paying for a super slick online chat app. Tawk.to gets the job done and it still looks pretty fresh on my website. My office admin can use it under her account, and overall it ain't too bad.

It can be buggy, and it can be complicated. Honestly, Tawk.to has so many features, more than we need, and I feel some of that effort could instead go into making the website and app more reliable and easy to use. There are so many settings that it's easy to get lost trying to figure out what is what. For example, there have been a handful of times where our live chat is just turned off for days at a time before we notice it and we have to go in and figure out why. User management can be complicated. The app is not the easiest to use either. But, I really can't complain because I am benefiting from it all for free.

We settled Tawk to for chatting with our customers because when they have an urgent question it becomes time efficient.

With the free plan, it includes three agents for a customer service team which is great considering Tidio's offer. Besides you can check whether user looking at your webpage with the proxy or from where you have guests. Also, reporting features help you to understand your target audience.

Sometimes the software gives the notifications lately. Even though the free plan is great but paid subscriptions are expensive. Customization is not well arranged.

Really good experience so far, very configurable and also easy to manage between the three people/agents that have been responding to chats. It is very easy to take over chats and notification sound is very pleasant and distinctive

That you can review historic conversations and see messages users are typing before they send them, this helps you prepare a prompt response and anticipate their doubts.

The fact that I get logged out of the app without knowing, sometimes we don't know we have been logged out and we've missed a couple of chats

I was search a lot for free chat plugins while I start my own website at least I founded tawk.to and I was satisfied on it. I used it for a long time on my site as I run my site. I am happy with this plugin and its service providers.

Tawk.to is a free chat plugin which you can use for chat with your customers or visitor at any plate form or your own build html or php website. Tawk.to has a simple dashboard with easy control and also provide easy customization environment. I was used for long time this plugin on my site.

There some limitation in Tawk.to plugin e.g. limit of users in free version and back links but I my personally though is that this is not matter because the quality of service is better than other chat service providers.

I love tawk! Having used multiple chat software for my personal website, when I came upon tawk through another user review - I decided to try it out. And I have not been disappointed.

That I have to pay to remove their branding.. LOL! But considering the number of features we get for free, we should really not complain!

Overall very good because our expectations are low since it is free. There are a lot of UX improvements that could be made however. It's still worth it for an early stage business that doesn't want to spend on chat software.

It is free and easy enough to use. Comparable competing software isnt free.

The Scheduler is a mess. If you dont us the scheduler and have multiple agents, someone may forget to log out and you cant determine who it is and your chat will remain activated. The only alternative is to then use the scheduler and set specific hours. But if you do that then your chat will be deactivated outside of those specific hours, even if an agent logs in. If you want to work non-fixed schedules, you have to keep adjusting the scheduler every time.

I can't complain especially that the app is free and it does what it promises to do.

It's free. It's functional and it's elegant! You can manage more than one chat interface from one account and you can customize the look and feel of each instance of the chat bot.

It loads fast but not fast enough. Sometimes it slows my website loading time a tad. Not a big deal but can be improved. Also having some AI would be awesome, like a robot to answer a certain question and if it fails to help the visitor, the visitor would speak to a human.

What is there not to like about this software.

Our organization uses a website to allows members to do various things like register for events. Sometimes, people have run into trouble or questions while trying to do something. Now, there's a little box in the corner that allows them to start a chat session with me so I can help them out. It has come in really handy and been a huge time saver for myself and our members.

I really can't think of any valid cons.

We were able to install online chat to 4 sites in one day and easily set up and train teams to manage chats. This is no bot, so customers will be happy to be able to speak to a real person. If no employees are available, like 3rd shift hours, it's easy to set tawk.to to send an email so that employees can check for questions as soon as they get in to work in the mornings.

Tawk.to is the simplest online chat application I've ever installed to a website. It's admin is also very intuitive, even if you are managing multiple businesses with multiple sites.

I can't think of any cons, it's really a great tool. I wouldn't even be typing anything here except the review site requires cons.

It allows for some degree of design customization (color, shape, size of chat window, etc) in terms of how it plugs into the website, it has nice integrations where it can show you usernames, and it lets you see what people are typing before they send it to you.

You cannot customize the placement of the chatbot on a given webpage beyond the 4 corners of a given page, the mobile app for managing incoming chats is rather clunky and is not great at indicating if someone already took care of something.

I think it seems to work well. Good for setting auto-replies if we don't make the chat in time. All around we like it.

I don't like that it doesn't keep you logged in and that the email reminder for missed chats comes in quite late.

I love this free program. It also has an app for your phone which allows you to stay connected even on the go. This program allows me to help.customers with any orders or product questions before they order. I've found a lot more ppl visit our website rather than call so this still allows me to stay connected with our customer base with the added convenience of not having to call.

No really cons I can think of. A suggestion would be a time schedule that you can coordinate with business hours instead of having to log on or off each time.

They have a free version and also a paid version and you can add it to your desired CMS either Wordpress, Magento. Easy to setup for beginners also.

I have been using Tawk.to for the past 3 years now. They are the first chat app system that I ever know that implement an auto-respond whenever you're not online. You add a chat to your website and let your customers talk to you live. Either on your eCommerce online store website or company website.

With this website, you can convert your traffic to paying customers. Get a full detail of where they chatting from, the current page they are on your website and also transfer them to another support team.

It is a great tool and feet that is very useful for any type of website. if used correctly it can become a means of sales for your business.

An easy way to enhance our website is through a chat tool, and one of the best is taw.to, it is very easy to install and use. Its administrative panel allows to control in an organized way the communication with the users that visit our web, besides we can configure forms with welcome messages and add the fields that we create are useful to establish the communication, for example in my case I usually request the name, email, and phone.

Actually this tool pleases me a lot, but sometimes there are flaws in the browser and we can lose communication, but it is not serious in most cases I usually solve easily by reloading the browser or starting a session again

With a single account, I can monitor all the chats that are in different domains. It allows me to assign roles to members, know which countries users write to me and customize their design. It is wonderful!

At first, it is not easy to understand the operation of the chat and the options in the left sidebar. The application is really excellent, but it can be a bit more intuitive

Because of a lot of functions, it has like visitors type, pages they visit and location, it helps us make more personalized chatting experience especially with repeat customers.

The software is easy to use and to implement, gives demographics of web visitors so that you know in which state or country they are. This enables you even to personalise your chat thus increasing customer service. Offers its own tawkto icon on the free version chat and the flexibility to personalize once you pay. The free version is really incredible especially their features of adding someone else for support.

They add ons are pricey and not worth the amount you will need to pay

Tawk gives you basic, live chat for free with no restrictions. I mean, come on, before you got straight to Intercom, give tawk a try. Sure the feature set and the customization possibilities are better on other platforms but all the other platforms strike me as prohibitively expensive for a small business, especially when most aren't even sure that live chat is for them in the first place. So tawk is a good platform to figure that out on.

The backend is incredibly confusing. I never know which site I'm administrating or how to find what I'm looking for. I mean, compared to the great front end, this is really pretty embarrassing for them. It would be a nightmare, I imagine, for any agency administering more than a few sites.

After trying dozens of services, I chose Tawk because it is the most complete. You can literally customize everything for a very low cost. Tawk allows you to manage the chats your organization has with customers, evaluate them, supervise your customer service employees and have a perfect mobile application. Application that works in real time and very easy to use.

The application works very well and most of its features are free but a more modern interface would be appreciated.

It's not the software's fault but you do get some occasional idiots on web chat. One guy messaged "hello" then continued with the rest of the lyrics for the Lionel Ritchie song - very odd.

It's excellent has helped me maintain good communication with my clients and has also become a direct sales channel.

It is one of the best online chat, it is very useful we can use it for free with very good features. It is a great tool to be in contact with customers through the website, we can clarify any questions they have and we can also generate sales, it is very intuitive and easy to use and we can keep a record of all the chats of each client.

Sometimes communication is interrupted and I have solved by closing the session and reopening it, I have also reloaded the web browser in some cases.

Me and my clients are happy to provide quick support to website visitors and generate more inquiries even quickly, so best tool we came across till now.

It helped me to gain the inbound leads from 25 to more than 100 per month. Previously, there were many website visitors coming but leaving the website without putting query/inquiry, but now with the help of tawk.to we can chat and gather all the requirements by giving quick chat support.

Once i have used the paid version of this tool, but the kind of team they have given was not as per our expectations. Infact, it is easy to take care of the chat by inhouse member rather than their paid support. That's the only thing i didn't like, otherwise this tool is the best among rest.

Not only are you able to notice guests looking at your site in real-time, you are able to observe the text that they are preparing to send to you as they write it... allowing extra time as the company to respond with a proper and successful response. Statistics involving location, time, and IP are added benefits when studying visiting consumers.

There are hardly any negatives about tawk.to. The chat software is simple, non-intrusive, and ready to be of use when need be. The only negative, which should be taken with a grain of salt as it is such a minor detail, is that the incoming text of the consumer can occasionally come in sporadically, or a brief one or two second time pause between existing and currently being written text. This results in a quick jump in the conversation. Again, however, this is the worst experience that you may encounter.

Overall, Tawk.to has served it's purpose for us despite some frustration set backs with kicking me out of the app in the middle of the chat.

It was a free software that allowed us to add chat communication to our website. Tawk.to was easy to add to our website as well. Being able to jump into the middle of coworkers chats to assist or just whisper to them is great as well. Another good feature is the tawk.to app. So if you're looking for a cheap way to add this type of functionality to your site, it's worth it.

It needs to refresh the dashboard constantly. It has also kicked me out of the app in the middle of chats with potential customers.

You can either build your own which would take a considerable amount of resources or you could buy an expensive solution that requires hours of integration. tawk.to bypasses both these scenarios with a relatively cheap support chat solution that is super easy to integrate in to any website and provides awesome options to response to customer requests. The integration only takes a few lines of code and the mobile application that is provided allows the customer support team to respond to requests from anywhere at any time. Extensive backend reporting also allows analysis of how well customer requests have been responded to with comprehensive analysis and reports.

More complex configuration for more specific scenarios can be tricky; if you're trying to do something complex that's not provided out of the box, configuration tawk.to can become difficult.

Through this chat we can serve our customers and help to make sales of the users who visit our website. It is an excellent tool that improves the attention and quality of service of any company.

It is one of the best chat I have used for my websites, it is very useful and easy to use, it allows me to establish communication with potential clients quickly. The administration panel is very intuitive and allows us to analyze the visits and chats that are made on the web, we can also use it from our smart phone by downloading the app.

On some occasions I had to restart the browser, close the chat session and open it again because it has failed, but it's nothing to worry about, it's still one of the best online chat tools.

The experience while using tawk.to is awesome we don't generally use the plugins so its not like we are affected in any way but it is nice to greet your visitors with a nice phrase.

The best part i like about this software is ease of use to implement it on any platform no matter you are using a php based web application or an static page, the other thing i liked about it its free for use policy.

The pricing to use its plugins are quite exaggerated for an online chat application.

Overall, tawk.to is an amazing Livechat support software and it has helped us retain a good number of leads via following up on them in real time when they are on our website.

I came to know about this software years ago when we were having great website visitation but our sales was low. We started pondering on the best way to convert all the leads who visit our website to paying clients. Our option was to have a live chat so we can communicate with our leads and that was when we found out about tawk.to. It is an amazing Live chat support software with free version and a feature to help you know where your lead is chatting from.

One of the issues I have with tawk.to is it's sophisticated backend which can be confusing to non technical people. I have to take my clients through a mini tutorial on how to install the software .

For a small company, the free plan is just enough to offer customers great live customer support.

It is completely free to use (no hidden cost). Clients can create tickets through Tawk.to which is very handy. They have apps for mobile and PC, which makes answering efficient and easy. Overall, they are pretty reliable.

Spam-wise they are not doing a very good job. I had customers sending pictures of themselves and other random things. I don't know if there is much to do about that. When left unattended it becomes idle pretty quickly.

I like this app so far, it's free and helps me a lot to communicate with my website visitor.

The first one it's free and with a free plan, it just works perfectly with my small business. I can chat with multiple visitors at the same time which is very good. I use Wordpress based website and it's so easy to install and set up this app. I also can see from which country they are from.

The chat notification seems delayed for 2 to 4 minutes, sometimes it keeps kicking me from the chat and the dashboard is so confusing for newbie or non-techinal people.

Tawk.to is a tool that helps to offer live support for your customers. It offers the extension free of charge. More than that Tawk.to offers tracking solutions for your webpage meaning that you can see how many visitors checked out your webpage and how long they stayed in. Besides you can see which location follows your webpage.

Sometimes there happen small errors meaning that the extension in the webpage may disappear. The support team is helpful but they are not so fast.

Live chat is an important feature to have on a website. Tawk is easy to implement, easy to operate, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

It has a very easily accessible and easy to understand click path. You know exactly where a customer is on your website so you can really help them effectively.

We use to spend $100 dollars for a chat software, now we can use this money in something else in our company and still have a great chat support . We can use the mobile app and support our website customers remotely

This software has the easiest website integration process. If you want to be able to engage and interact with your website visitor via live chat then this is the right application. And the greatest deal? It if for FREE! If yo wanted to hire agents to look after your site visitors tawk.to has "chat agents for hire".

I think tawk.to has provided me with what I really needed for the client's demand. So have no problem with this software.

Tawk.to has filled a staffing gap for us by allowing us to do support from anywhere at any time. It has expanded our client base and allowed for more productivity and customer satisfaction.

I love that I can use it anywhere I have a device. I can answer questions on my website that customers and potential customers need to know. I have been able to save a ton of time by answering multiple live chats at a time and providing support, eliminating a staffing gap that we had.

Sometimes it can get a little buggy and ping my device multiple times, especially if I am on a mobile hotspot. I think it is mostly due to connectivity issues and not directly with the software.

It feels great using the software.

Ever since we've been using tawk.to on our site, we've recorded massive leads over time. The software is easy to use and to set up with lots of great features like adding other members of a department to join a conversation among other things. I simply love it!

I think agents shouldn't have to go on the tawk.to website to be online on their own website. An easier way should be created for this purpose.

Nearly everything in tawk.to is fully free. Only pay to remove branding or for some advanced features. The interface is quite nice to work with and it's rather very easy to get set up with and use. Customer support is really friendly too!

The user interface feels just a little bit dull, and lacks the modern interface of competing apps. I can't really complain, as the platform is free!

I function as backup to our sales team when it comes to the live chat on our website, so I do not pick up every chat that comes in. Instead, I pick up any chats that occur when all of my colleagues are busy. For my role, Tawk.to works perfectly. I can easily answer questions and use pre-configured responses when appropriate.

I can easily see how many people are on our website, initiate chats with them, and respond to chats that a person has started on their own.

We do have the occasional problem of the desktop app crashing when you haven't been using it all day, but a quick restart of the program completely fixes it. I know that Tawk.to are looking it, so I'm sure it will be fixed soon.

I've only used tawk.to on WordPress websites. I don't know what the installation process is like for other platforms so the experience might be different for other platforms.

The basic service is free and easy to install and set up on WordPress.

The dashboard is challenging for beginners and non-technical users. In my experience, new users also have challenges understanding that tawk.to is hosted on a different location than the website from which the chats are coming from.

1. It a great add on to a web application (websites) if you want to allow your users to contact your support team easily.

1. It also provides few add-ons as Putting your own brand and get rid of that tawk.to label at the bottom, but honestly speaking it is more expensive than it should be.

After trying so many different live support programs, I decided to go with Tawk.to. The free plan has so many premium features such as ticketing, triggers and shortcuts. They put deep thought into the user experience of both the live support agent and the customer, and have an amazing mobile app that goes along with their web-based app.

My favorite feature is that I can easily take over conversations from my agents even when I am on the go with their mobile app. They have also added the support ticketing system where my agents can escalate certain customer concerns to me if they are unable to resolve them.

Canned notifications cannot be edited via the mobile app. It will be nice to have this feature because sometimes I might need to make edits on the fly.

Overall Tawk.to is an easy to use and free live chat platform which can surely be your assistant in bringing leads for your business.

Tawk is a free to use website Live Chat Platform where I can message my website visitors and solve their queries on the spot. I have an education institute for which I use it and I usually initiate chats with the visitors which in most of the cases turns in to leads.

As such there is nothing that I dislike about Tawk.to

The product is absolutely free and is easy to use. Anyone looking to answer a handful of questions through the day won't find a better app.

Tawk.to is abysmal at sorting large amount of messages. If you are planing to be constantly talking to multiple people or having multiple staff members be involved you will quickly get overwhelmed by the unintuitive UI.

Since we're a small business, Tawk.to offers the support to our customers that we would never have the time to provide.

Tawk.to is a great way for small businesses to operate like a big business. We use the Business hours chat. The chat agents are always open to ask us questions so that they can provide the best reponses to our customer.

I wish they offered a phone service. I've made the suggestion. Fingers crossed!

this is the best Live Chat Support, i can easily get in conact with my site visitors and this application track down the viditors coming into my sites just like the Google Analytics app.

I like this software because it makes you see what your site visitors are currently doing. It makes you having a view on what your users what. It is also responsive and mobile friendly on browsers. It is available on both mobile and desktops.

What's there to dislike about this software? Nothing really to be candid. Thumbs up to the developers

Previously I used a similar paid chat tool on my website and decided to try how Tawk.to works. The test was so successful that I started to use Tawk.to for other projects.

The best thing about Tawk.to chat is not that you do not need to pay for it, but the number of features and productivity it offers. Usually there are some big and minor issues with free software, but Tawk.to is an exeption. This chat platform has everyting you need and expect from a communication software.

There is nothing a dislike about Tawk. It has all the features I need, a good mobile app and everything meets my demands.

Truly completly free chat software. Great ease of use and very complete. Can't think of any missing features. No limit's other than a little branding on the free software!

I've a really hard time thinking about cons, maybe the app for operators could be improved.

I use talk.to for customer chat support on my e-commerce website. It has been a very successful support tool for me. I definitely recommend it.

It has a great free plan. You can customize the colors of the chat and widget. It has an app for your phone and computer to stay connected with customers. It can respond automatically if prompted to. It can also alert you when you have a website visitors.

I really didn’t dislike much about this app except that to add certain features you had to pay monthly for those specific features. They should just include all for 1 price.

This software has helped me generate more sales from my website as I am directly able to chat with potential clients the minute they arrive on my website.

For a startup with small funds it was difficult to afford expensive chat systems on our website but this was one thing we absolulely needed as customers wanted to talk to a human when they got to our site. Tawk to solved this so efficiently. Not only did they provide this service for free (yes there is a paid tier also and one where they provide you with CC agents). Their chat widget is extremely easy to install, supports wordpress and customizable. To top it all they even provide an Android app which I use when I am travelling to talk to visitors on my website.

There is an issue with their mobile app as it does not always notifies you when someone is on the site. Though this is not a common occurance, still its not non-existent either. Another thing is that their web dashboard is a bit cluttered, atleast that is how I feel. They could give a little thought to the UI and UX of their website’s dashboard.

I am really very satisfied with tawk service, I can see who is online on my server from my dashboard, which gives me an awesome overview of total users browsing. I would love to see a one-time payment for the white label. But with an unlimited agent, awesome reporting and emoji it is getting more and more interesting. If you need a free chat service for the unlimited user at free of cost then this is for you.

With WP, Joomla, and support for most of the software, this is my first choice for a live support system. I am using this on my WordPress website and from my desktop app. This is really simple and easy to use. Pre-define chats make my support simpler. I started using it for my personal blog few years ago and still it is an awesome and never gave any problems. IF you need a an awesome chat which is simple to integrate that tawk is for you, and more of all it is absolutely free.

White lebel pricing is per monthly basic which is a bit more for starter like me.I would like to see one time plans for white lebel.

We use Tawk on our website as well as a number of clients' websites, and are extremely happy with the feature list. They also offer chat agents for hire which works extremely well in our use cases.

You can do nearly everything in their free tier. Customization is pretty robust, with multi-lingual support as well. Integrating into any website requires no coding knowledge at all, and it also has plugins for most popular web platforms (WordPress, etc.)

Managing notifications can be a bit confusing, and the desktop app for Windows has some bugs (crashes, blank screens, etc.)

the fact that I can create a group for each chat that is needed in a single administrative panel is great, it saves me a lot of time.

incredible system to have a live chat, you can place it on your website, it is easy and easy to use and manage, the best you can use from your application.

chat is very good for your page, the only bad thing is that it is not so customizable until the version pays.

Great Graphic User Interface showing relevant information on the dashboard such as number of active users, visitor statistics and so on. Assists in website promotion planning. Makes it easy for account user to be active 24/7 with integrations such as its mobile application which allows users to remotely reply chats from visitors.

No optimization features (S.E.O) which could make a lot of significant improvements. No ability to upload files during chat conversation

Probably the best ting about tawk.to is that it is completely free, it doesn't matter how many agents or websites you need it's free. It's really easy to use & set-up/installation is easy to.

I find that the addons can be quite expensive, especially since you have to purchase them on a per widget basis rather than per account.
