Central informational portal for all of our records, from job estimating, job ticketing to accounting integration with Quickbooks.
Price point is good for our size of company when we started. It runs on both P.C's and Mac's. This is great where we have prepress staff that it can sit on their desktops and then it can also run on machines that are windows OS. We don;t have to have an IT professional to maintain it. It has modules that are expandable so you don't have to purchase a vast amount of components to get started. It's flexible; we have the ability to create our own style of job tickets which is very important to our operation.
There are a few items would like to see improvement on. Estimating with additional quantities and improvement to the wide format module.

We have used PrintPoint software for over twenty-five years. That fact alone states the obvious, PrintPoint software does the job for us.

I love everything about this software. If you force me to pick something negative it would be that PrintPoint is not an easy program to set-up. For a large shop it can take a couple months to enter all your customers, paper inventory, pricing, etc. But once you do all the grunt work, you'll be glad you did. That's when life as the manager of a printing company gets much easier and you can access reports such as job costing analysis.
The ability to customize certain reports and invoices. I like the ability to upload paper and inks on the go and I like the tax setting and the ability to customize that, too.
I have some problems adjusting some of the forms with the software, it's not as simple as it seems. There is a some trouble at spacing and moving lines to make boxes. It needs a better form customization feature.

Flexibility in functionality. We use mostly digital machines and have a diverse workload, but PrintPoint is able to handle all types of jobs!
Initial data engineering to start up. Need plenty of planning and data entry personnel to get PrintPoint set up.

We can now estimate, use workflow, and deliver our products against many different mediums. Off-set, digital, web-to-print, fulfillment and shipping. Great value for the investment.
It’s built for print shops of yesterday, today, and tomorrow. They are very capable and responsive to our needs.
It’s not all functioning yet. Understandable because it’s beta, but that’s my biggest hurdle.

Keeps just about everything organized.
Very fast and pleasant to use. Many options for how to view different lists. Updating products is fast and reliable.
Wish it meshed with Quickbooks a tad better. Wish I could adjust what the email quote which is NOT a pdf looks like and includes.

It is hard to log into and I do think that once logged in think that is great and I really do love this product.

Print Point is a small company and limited in what they can implement for unique requests. However if a request is made, they will always assist, especially if various customers have similar needs.

I could recommend this program for any sizer company. As I said maybe overkill for small printers but you can grow with it.
The fact that we can go back and check, clone and just basically keep track of past jobs.
It has many function that I don't use. Thats not a bad thing but overkill for our size company

The software is customisable to individual business needs and the job history/data very easy to access and build on. Overall it helps us operate our business smoothly and efficiently. We'd be lost without it.
It can take a while to set up and find your way around the software ... but once it's done you will save a tremendous amount of time.... The support staff are very knowledgeable and helpful - as you'd expect - also pleasant and supportive.

We were doing estimating by hand and it was overwhelming us. Now I can get a quote out in seconds or minutes depending on the complexity. Again, one of the greatest strengths of working with PrintPoint is the training and support you get.
I love that I can get back to an estimate and do a revision.
Creating our own job ticket challenged us because PrintPoint has so many options. It took us a while to settle in on the option that works best for us.

I feel more confident exploring different features. Morrie was a fantastic teacher and extremely patient working with me.
Once I was individually tutored, I learned there were many more features and functionality than I was originally shown.
I'm still not comfortable making statements, etc.

Very easy to set up and use. Navigation is easy and very straight forward. Customer service is superb .
There are some limits to the functionality, but they keep working to improve it.

Searching Features make finding data is a breeze. We can find anything by a simple word search in POs, Estimates or Jobs.
The link to Accounting and ability to partial Invoice. Also the Wide Format Media Tracking/Inventory is lacking.

Great for digital sheet feed estimating AS WELL as large format estimating. Great for tracking progress of jobs as they travel through the shop
Not cloud based. Although it works great on our local server it would be nice to access it remotely. And maybe a phone app.

Runs our business so it is very critical to us.
Quite user friendly and adaptable to meet our needs. We have always received great support whenever needed.
I really don't have any complaints I think if we had issues we wouldn't still be using the software after 15 years.

What I like most is that you can call or e-mail support and you have answers quickly. They teach you how to do something rather than just do it for you; that is very essential for our business and our employees. The overall use of PrintPoint is easy and helps us run our business on a day to day basis.
The reporting can be difficult to generate at times but it's not to say the functionality is not there. Sometimes generating a report can have almost too much detail rather than basic templates that are easier for me to create.

Not having to manually write up jobs as we did in the past. Having the ability to see what has been done in the past with each customer.
Being able to find previous jobs easily and cloning. Being able to add on the fly, the convenience of repeating jobs or creating new ones.
If you change anything on 1 quote it affects all quotes from there on. It would be nice to have QuickBooks and PrintPoint merged together, it's a matter of time to do this.

It has organized our department SO much. I can search the web by categories and see where our inconsistencies are. Our customers love it too. They can actually see what they are ordering and review it for updates if needed before ordering. The ordering process for them is user friendly.
Took a long time to upload all of 5,000+ products. After some tweaking of the software, this process is now much, much faster. We still have some outstanding issues on how the orders are coming across in Print Point, but you are working to resolve those.

I'm able to swiftly operate my business from initial client inquiries to final invoicing entirely solo. Our awesome customer service record is based on how Printpoint has been able to perform for our small team.
It's fast and it's organized, and can be further organized, in such a way as to make work-flow FLY. Clients are often surprised by how fast I can access their information. Job tracking is a snap. This software is the backbone of our operations.
I honestly don't face any obstacles in daily use that I can't create a custom-solution for within a few moments. Right now the way that we use Printpoint does not reveal any deficiencies.
