I use Canva for two separate businesses/websites I run. The designs for each are very different in appearance. However for each website I create blog images, marketing designs as well as social media images to use in my marketing.

I love this software to keep my brand consistent throughout all of my images and marketing design. I love that I can create images for any social media platform in a snap. I also love that I can reuse designs from past projects and simple change out images or a few other items quickly.

I wish it were easier to organize my uploaded images within Canva. I spend a lot of time sifting through my previously uploaded images to find what I need. I know I can organize it more with the paid version, but I I haven't opted in for that quite yet.

Canva is to my opinion the best software that can be used to create and publish any graphic design on the go. Publishing on social media has never been that easy, no need to calculate the image dimensions (Width x Height) set by different social media platforms... Canva does that automatically for you.

- Canva is so easy to use with beautiful and instinctive UI design, great user experience too.

- Repetitive designs might be found across the web as everyone uses the same design templates.

Canva makes it so easy to create fast and easy designs, from social media graphics to email, and even web in a pinch. We can store brand colors and assets which makes generating large quantities of designs for multiple channels easy and fast. I find this so much faster and more intuitive than tools like Photoshop and the workflows, templates, and re-size options, as well as the ability to save brand colors and custom uploads make Canva easier to work with for us than Picmonkey which was actually a great resource for many years. Overall, I would say that Canva is an essential part of our workflow. It saves a ton of time and allows us to look very professional even with limited design skills.

Canva has tackled an issue that I didn't understand existed - rapidly and basically making illustrations for use in different ventures. I would (and do!) prescribe this item to everybody. I have begun numerous partners utilizing the stage and will happily yell its commendations. It's altered how I approach making and utilizing illustrations.

I use Canva for everything from online networking presents and PDF gifts on video acquaintances I send with customers. I cherish having the capacity to modify pictures with content and work of art and the simplified component makes it amazingly simple. All aspects of my business that is client confronting has improved ten times since executing this into my business. This product is right around an absolute necessity for any business-to-shopper task.

I nearly chuckle as I type this since Canva has a large number of alternatives for pictures and plans yet I wish there was a larger amount participation that permitted you access to a more noteworthy number of structures. Canva has put aside unique plans for buy that are ordinarily of higher quality. Here and there it is disappointing when you need to utilize those structures yet not pay to just utilize it once. I would pay all the more every month to have a more extensive access to better structures.

100% satisfied! It has saved me countless hours and made my presentations look flawless, thus far helping me close more deals

I have been using Canva since their birth during my college days, and I can not stress enough how this software has made my professional and social life easier, better, more beautiful, etc! I may seem overdramatic, but if you are slaving away for hours over flyers, pitch decks, presentations, ad photos, Instagram posts, you-name-it, you will understand what a blessing it is to find a program that makes this process simple and easy: 1) Templates galore (some paid, free) They are all amazing 2) Templates are broken down to what you need them for (insta, banners, presentations, flyers, etc) 3) Features, shapes, graphics are already available (Some paid, some free)

If there were any cons, it would be due to user error. Canva has pretty much thought of and made everything available to the user.

Overall, Canva has been a blessing to our small company. What once took us hours of design work now gets 90% of the way there in less than 10 minutes. This is the definition of business leverage, and I applaud Canva's efforts to make design work easy, fun, and often inspiring.

Simply put, Canva makes anyone look like a design rockstar. In our industry (real estate), it's shocking how ubiquitous Canva has become in less than 5 years, and that is 100% attributable to the fact that it's easy to use and comes stock with hundreds of pieces of design inspiration. It's not often that you can a single piece of software raises the bar for small business advertising and marketing, but Canva definitely fits that bill.

The flip side of raising the bar is that, well, the bar for quality is now raised and Canva isn't always the best about helping its users rise above this new "average." For instance, the pre-built designs are so good that you see them everywhere now, and you can spot a "Canva-like" design a hundred yards away.

I love Canva, I use it daily both for my full time job and for my side projects and helps me to create really great documents. It takes alot of the hard work out of getting started with a project and looking through the various templates can help inspire my own work.

Since I started using Canva about 3 years ago it has changed how I do things forever - for the better! Unbelievably easy to use and you can create very professional looking designs, templates and documents.

As Canva is only online it can make working a bit more tricky at times, but mostly everywhere I travel now has wifi so it doesn't affect me too much. My only other slight complaint would be that the layout of my saved designs can look a bit messy. The folder function doesn't work quite as I would like it. If it was possible to put designs clearly into folders it would make life easier when I'm searching for a previous piece of work.

Canva is very easy to use graphic design software that allows you to create an artistic and professional design in mere seconds. It allows people with no artistic background to quickly create a design for their personal and business needs. People have been complimenting my designs and admired its simplicity. Hence, you do not need a to wear a fancy artist's beret to create your artistic designs to share to the world.

One of the best attributes that Canva offers is its ease of use. Relative to other layout and design software, designing marketing material, info-graphics, presentations, etc. becomes very painless as Canva offers a variety of templates for you to choose. Along with these are the ready stock photos, vector graphics, and shapes that you can bring to your design by click-and-dragging it to where you want it to be, that way you do not need to switch to another webpage to search for images. Canva is also very useful for prototyping designs as you can quickly iterate through your design ideas because of how quick and convenient it is to create a design.

Although Canva allows you to create professional looking designs rapidly, it does come with some trade-offs. Canva loses the flexibility and functionality that other graphic design software have. Users of professional graphic design software would understand what I am referring to. Features such as warping, filters, space selection, etc. are absent. but one could say that this is a good thing to keep things simple.

The ease of use in working hours within the platform at the genetic level is fast, the individual experience is satisfactory and without setbacks, this added to the multiple designs and different templates are adapted to the needs of your company or social network, allowing you to show a quality advertising work, according to the commercial objective. It also significantly reduces the costs that the company can redirect to more useful aspects that will impact on significant savings, knowing what an advertising campaign is worth today. With the free version you work it is easy to do jobs with professional quality.

It allows me to choose according to the type of social network in which I am working, to select the most varied templates adapted to the specific formats; and if I'm not satisfied with the predesigned material, I can modify it by making my final presentation more personalized. It has the ability to accept own photographs, adapt them and edit them within the same application with filters that give a professional appearance of excellent quality. If there is no format within the predesigned templates, you can also change the size. It offers a wide range of designs that fit the type of advertising desired, which are required to present both in a work meeting or disseminating information by various social networks.

There are times when not all the details of a presentation are saved, and it is annoying because some need time to do them again. If you select a specific template, the system opens a new tab, once you finish all the work and save the information, you must go back to the previous tab and close it, this is a bit tedious. Depending on the complexity of the presentation, sometimes the program can delay in processing the changes efficiently, which can sometimes make you lose the work done previously. In other opportunities if you upload your own image, in some occasions editing it on the platform is not friendly if the connection that is used on the internet does not turn out to be fast enough.

We use Canva for all our design needs. Social media marketing, magazine ads, flyers, brochures, email blasts, etc... We can do it all in Canva. I love that our brand colors are saved and there are so many beautiful templates to choose from so all we have to do is change to our brand colors and change the wording and we are set. Canva has given me the freedom to play around with design and create some beautiful works of art! Love all of the graphics, fonts, images, etc... So many good things to say about it. I recommend it to everyone I know.

I love the ease of use with Canva. Anyone with basic computer skills can look like a professional graphic designer. Also, most everything we do in Canva is completely free. I am the marketing director for a non-profit so we have zero budget to spend on marketing. Since I am able to use Canva for free all the time, whenever there is something special that I need to do and I want to purchase a premium image, my boss is totally ok with that. Especially because I can show him what the finished product will look like before we spend the money!

I do wish there were a way to search free graphics and images by title. Currently you can search by subject but free is mixed with premium. Sometimes I have to search for a long time to find the free images I need. I understand why they designed it this way. Obviously if we want to keep Canva supported and growing, we need plenty of people purchasing premium images. My organization doesn't often have the budget for the premium images so I'm grateful that other people do because I want Canva to stay around for a very long time. I honestly don't know what I'd do with out.

This is one of my favourite social tools and I think every business should use it. The free version has a lot to offer and it can be used for a number of applications from flyers to ads to social!

I absolutely love this software. I use it multiple times in my day, both on it's own and along with other programs, such as Photoshop. It makes it really easy to create high quality social images and other business designs. It is easy to use and has a number of features including stock imagery, shapes, frames, layouts, fonts, colours etc. It allows you to upload your own images and quickly organize them. I have used both the paid and free versions. Both are great tools and the free version gives you access to more than you need if you are a small business. The paid version allows you to upload your brand elements and gives you access to additional images and icons. I have also used the Canva app which is great for on the go but is not as easy to use, however, it is getting better as they update it. Canva also has several download options and the newest version gives you the option to make basic moving images.

I wish there was a better way to organize and manage images and designs. It would be great if I could rename images and organize them within the folders. I also dislike that the image folders have a mass capacity. The Canva app for your mobile device is not as easy to use. While it is helpful for on the go edits and designs I often times find myself limiting my design or pulling out my computer because it is a little too frustrating to use. However, they are making improvements which are making it easier. I wish I could do multiple sizes of a design in one template. Because I resize for all of the different social platforms, I often end up with 3 to 5 of the same image in my design library, all different sizes.

Overall I have used Canva for a few years and I am satisfied with it. You can use it for a large array of design projects. It works the best for creating images to delight people on social media or on personal blog. The free version comes with limited functionality, but it’s enough for basic needs. A medium to advanced designer should upgrade to the premium version - it’s a bargain by taking into account the value you get.

I started using Canva because I dislike creating social media assets by using Photoshop. It took me too much time to create an image for my Pinterest account so I switched to Canva. I saved plenty of time by using Canva - everything is more simpler. Hence, use Canva to save your time.

Canva is an awesome tool, but don’t expect to entirely replace Adobe Photoshop. Some users expect from Canva to replace Photohsop, but it’s quite difficult if not impossible. Canva’s aim is to create simple to medium projects. Complex pieces of design are the appanage of Photoshop. The template library is made up from many good-looking templates, but the team behind Canva should do more in this respect. You risk of having a similar piece of design to many others because armies of users use the same template.

Canva is so easy to use, I use it almost daily. Social media posts, video thumbnails, blog post images are my most frequent use. Taking a document and updating it so we have consistent layouts, colors, etc. across thumbnails is incredibly easy.

Canva is fantastic. I can make mock-ups for marketing and social media pieces so quickly. I don't have a marketing background or degree (or design for that matter), but run a small business and we do the majority of our marketing online. Not only is Canva helpful with suggested file sizes and aspect ratios based on what you're building (social media posts, even posters or postcards, and tons more), but I can choose from prebuilt pieces and change any copy, layout, font, color, image, etc. So it's great for design ideas. I can even make decent mock-ups of images within images (example: a screenshot/image of our software on a laptop). While the functionality is not as robust as expensive pro software options out there, it has all of the functionality I need. If we had a full marketing team I could see how the paid version would be really helpful, but with just one or two of us, the free version is fantastic.

It's actually difficult to come up with something I don't like about Canva. Sometimes the functionality seems a little awkward with positioning images into a design or getting text to look exactly how I want to, but with a few minutes of finagling, I can usually make things work as closely as I really need.

Canva solves a lot of design requirements problems & helps in in-housing graphic design for simple daily needs like social media and also presentations. Canva saves time, efforts and money for small and medium businesses that are running social media and some marketing all by themselves / small in-house teams with small budgets. Would say a must-have tool for all size of businesses as well as for personal purposes (will come in handy for all those e-invites, kids craftwork, etc).

1. Develop almost all of your creatives required - all by yourself & without any need of hiring an expensive professional designer.

1. Good for beginners and intermediate users - the experts will see a lot of missing features - especially when compared to Photoshop (Illustrator and Corel Draw are way above & are for experts only) which has most design features & has a similar price per month as well. 2. Video editing capability is missing - although they have a GIF capability which can be downloaded as a video file, you can't stake stock videos and edit them o add them to your videos. This is a serious feature missing as video content is the mainstay of most businesses & highly in demand by everybody. 3. There is a learning curve here - this may not be to use the software tool - but for design & creativity itself and the resources available on Canva are limited in this aspect.

Canva is the first software I think of when I don't have so much time to create graphic designs. It features a huge variety of layouts and tools to create beautiful designs in a short amount of time. For social-media-lovers like me and for content creators, this is one of the best things already invented. Canva makes everything easier in a world where, more and more, time is money. I have a great experience of using Canva and I really recommend it to everyone I know.

For many, including me, Canva can be a divine sign or really the savior of the motherland. It features a huge variety of formats, layouts and tools, for basically any graphic material you might think of doing. Social media, work presentations, logos, cards, invitations, posters, ads, photo albums, ebooks and even resume! You can create all of this and more using Canva. And the best is the ease of use. You only have to choose a layout and customize it however you want. You can change the color of the text and some vectors, change fonts and more. It's a great software to exercise your creativity - even when you're not on a very creative day, because the software already gives you the almost ready work, you only need to adjust it according to your ultimate goal.

Even with those beautiful designs presented, some of the best ones are not totally free. Sometimes the complete design comes with a price, and other times some of the images used on it come with a price. If you can pay for them, this clearly does not prove to be a problem. If you can not afford it, there are the free images – but maybe some images do not show the best quality after download. Depending on the project you are designing, this can be a problem. For me, in the case of creating content for social networks (because the measures of these networks do not require a giant resolution), this has never been a problem. I can create beautiful arts for social media without any problem. And finally there's a Canva "problem" that I really LOVE to have: the variety of layouts it presents is soooo great that sometimes it takes me too long to pick one, hahahaha.

It's not bad for someone with no design experience as long as they are willing to pay more for printing. For the higher cost of printing you could pay a professional such as myself to design for you and print at a lower cost and higher quality. The application is bad for the overall marketing industry because it has lowered the quality standard and impact of advertisements being created by business owners who think they understand marketing, design and printing. I recently said to one of my clients who owns a high end auto detailing business and tried to create some marketing materials on his own, "I don't now how to properly wax and detail my vehicle. I would probably ruin the paint job somehow if I were to do it myself. That's why I hire a professional. I wouldn't expect you to be able to handle a design, print and marketing job either because that's not what you do." In short, stick to what you know and leave the rest to professionals. It will cost you less in the long run.

It's very easy to use and offers a ton of design content for free. You don't necessarily need to search outside of Canva for images but you can if you want. It's great for designing simple social banners or marketing materials quickly but there is a catch. They are trying to sell you printing services and their pricing is not competitive with quality printers.

I recommend Canva to clients who need to create social media marketing images. I have worked with clients who need me to print postcards, flyers or brochures that they designed on Canva and there are issues. Canva is trying to sell printing services. Their design templates are sized and setup for the printer companies they outsource to. If you design on Canva and download the files to send to a professional printer then those files are not setup correctly and require alterations to be printed. That's if there is room for alterations, but not all designs will allow for easy alteration so therefore the customer is forced to print on Canva at higher costs.

Canva makes it super easy for business to create graphic designs without being graphic artists. The template sizes are there for you, ready for any social media format for posts and for ads. That is an incredible time saver. No messing around with other imaging software to layout text on images, filters to create these. While more features are now under a pay wall, there is a considerable amount offered by Canva that you can use on your own and share with teams. That makes it easy to get updates/feedback on designs by adding people to your teams. Also, you can set a style guide which is available under the section Your Brand. Overall, Canva has put a lot of excellent effort into the tool.

Canva offers a quite a lot in the free version of the software, what I love most is the functionality wrapped in a beautiful web app. You can create images that are sized for different social media channels like Pinterest, Facebook Banners and posts, Twitter, Instagram. They have a very large selection of free templates you can choose from and customize. It's easy to change text size, colors, position, and once you get used to the layout of various boxes/blocks (text, background, effects) you'll see how much you can vary, from colors to transparency. I love that it's easy to duplicate a design and create variations of the same template.

You used to be able to create a graphic in a certain size, i.e., for Pinterest and then at top left select the Magic Resize option. That would let you take that graphic and have it resized for something completely different, like a Facebook banner ad. It was really excellent to have that included in the free version, and it's a bummer to see it completely gone. I get it, companies need to make money. It would be nice to see it available to create at least one time something like three different sizes from one template to show how easy it is to use as a tool, and add to the incentive to purchase a subscription. If you're creating a design and want to pull something in from a previous design you created, you can't access those earlier designs unless you upgrade your account. It feels like it can get a bit slow, it's a good idea to check how many Canva tabs you have open because each time you click on a new design, you open a new tab, which will consume your resources. Keep an eye on how many designs you're working on as they'll open new tabs which can consume resources.

I applied ot the nmonprofit Canva program last year and our program has been using it ever since. Canva has added many new features during this time, including the ability to send our designs to be printed. Our business cards turned out very well and I can honestly say that, for most projects, we really don't need more features. If you just need some nice professional designs and well crafted vector graphics for the designs, then this is a great choice. The money we saved by having this free premium version of Canva has allowed our program to purchase other much needed software.

Canva has many of the same features you would find in high-cost Adobe products: photo editing, professional quality design templates, team spaces, etc. Canva also offers their premium version FREE to nonprofits. It's a fantastic value.

Canva won't do absolutely everything. It isn't a straight replacement for InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. But it does have most of the basic functionality, which is all that you may need.

I've really enjoyed using Canva. It makes me happy to sign-in and find my uploads and design projects all waiting there online. I have bought a paid subscription just to use extra features (such as transparent background and animated GIFs!) and I thought while the free version was very robust the paid version has priority support and I appreciate that.

I like the way Canva can problem-solve a design need like no other design app. I've used Canva both on a tablet and as the desktop version. If you're in a tight spot and need an attractive brochure, poster, birthday card, banner ad or any other imaginable advertisement, Canva does the job. Canva app gets a complete novice designing in seconds with an extensive offering of quite respectable templates. Something I love is that it also supplies the printer's specifications on a downloadable document if you actually want to take your Canva creation to the printer. This takes the mystery out of that process and makes designing professional-quality documents a fun and versatile process.

I found the drag-and-drop responsiveness was not entirely responsive on my tablet compared to a desktop where it worked with ease. It's a little memory-intensive and so I was also frustrated by a crashing app on my ipad. Canva has a series of "design school" lessons on using grids, font choices etc. that seem helpful but I don't think any serious design house would really want a portfolio that was created from templates. Original work using the tools in Photoshop and using other Adobe Creative Suite software is still the industry standard, Canva is drag-and-drop. The lessons are short and rudimentary design basics, but still helpful in terms of design literacy for people. There is a bit of a feeling that people can sample the creative efforts of true designers through templates and call it their own that made me avoid templates.

All in all, Canva is an amazing graphics tool with a lot of different templates, layouts to use, plus you edit those how you like which is fantastic. You don’t have to pay if you don’t want to because Canva provides you with everything that you need plus something more. And not to mention that it’s pretty simple and easy to use.

I can’t decide what I don’t like on Canva. I mean this software gives you everything. This is a great graphic tool and you can create your design with ease. It has huge amounts of formats, layouts that can be used for almost everything. It’s easy to use too. You just need to pick one layout and then edit it in your own how you like it. You can change the format, the color, the fonts, etc. Plus if you are not an expert then you don’t need to have the paid version. The free version will do you fine. It has almost everything that you need.

I don’t like that this is an online platform. You can only use Canva if you have access to the internet. If no then you have to satisfy yourself with some other software for graphic design. Another thing that I don’t like is that the paid version has more options. I mean I get that if you want to have more you need to pay but here that’s not the case because even if you get the paid version you still don’t have access to some materials which it doesn’t make any sense. I paid for that I should have it. Other than that it’s great.

I used to struggle with creating social media images and trying to remember how to optimize images for the different sites, but Canva eliminated that guesswork with their templates. I love creating logos on Canva because I can create one logo and have it automatically sized for different social media banners and profile pictures.

The free version of Canva is amazing! It is amazingly easy to learn how to use and, if users struggle with graphics and typography, Canva has a library of different templates for print media, social media posts, or website images. The social media templates' sizes are optimized for the major social media sites, which takes the guesswork out of optimizing images for social media. The free stock photos are nice and, if users can't find a stock photo image that fits their visions, they can pay for premium images or upload their own. To complement images, Canva features a variety of image filters as well as frames in different shapes, sizes, and grids. The frames are incredibly easy to use, you just click the image you want to insert and Canva automagically inserts it into the frame. Users can literally create gorgeous social media posts with just a few clicks, some drag-and-dropping, and some typing.

The Canva website is sometimes laggy. This means that it sometimes will take several minutes to upload images, save images, or download images. Free users can only have one folder to organize designs, which means that if they want to tweak a past image, they will have to scroll through a lot of images to find the one they are looking for. Also, free users will find that their typography only designs or their logos cannot have a transparent background. This means that users will have to match the background color perfectly with their webpage or colored paper, or they will have to download the image and remove the background using a different editing program.

The original Canva 1.0 rates all 5 Stars. Easy to use, easy to see the various templates that beginners/advanced users wanted to find. Easy to select text elements and shapes.. For Canva 2.0? Take away a star across the board (4 stars.). They decided to not leave well enough alone. I can only find two improvements in a product that really didn't need improving, and they left out a notable chance to improve the app, by making image resizing a free, standard feature. That feature has become almost essential in 2018, and making it a premium feature is a shame..

Canva 2.0 remains the standard of excellence in online graphics creation for beginners through intermediate skill levels. Canva 2.0 widens the left-side margins of the app, allowing images and items you are searching for to appear larger on the desktop version. Once you find the "Find Templates" menu selection, you indeed have a VERY nice selection of graphics templates organized into a wider variety of categories than before.

Removal of the template selection screen. Asking the user to guess what the exact template style is by typing in an expression or description of the template, is a needless step backwards, all in pursuit of a cleaner looking interface.. If you want to enter your own design dimensions (say 1280x7200 pixels) the box for that is gone. Yes, FIND TEMPLATES is quietly there on the left side of the screen, but I didn't notice it until I had used Canva 2.0 nearly a dozen times. This could end up being better than Canva 1.0 if they install a guide for newcomers, showing users where they've moved these commonly used tools to.... It's a bit conceited when designers believe their products are so well engineered that they think they need no instructions.

I find Canva easy to use and also love the fact I'm able to use my brand colours easily without having to keep inserting the colour codes. I've also shared a few tricks with some of my my clients who are coaches and consultants and they appreciated it. Overall, Canva has saved me lots of time, effort AND money.

It's given me the ability to create graphics for my blog and social media. Before that, I had to pay someone each time I needed something done as I'm not conversant with graphics software. I also like the sample templates and free images that are available for all users.

The app kept freezing as they moved to version 2.0 and this made me lose my work a few times. However, there has been an improvement and the freezing has reduced. Another challenge is when creating cover images for Facebook groups. The image size for Facebook covers does not work well with the current Facebook groups image size and it looks terrible when you create using Canva dimensions. I've found a way of working around this, but would appreciate having a Canva template instead of the one I've created.

I use Canva to design graphics for my business. It is very easy to use, and I didn't have to invest time to start learning stuffs like Photoshop. Using Canva I only need to drag and drop, and edit the elements I want to use.

I've been using Canva for some years, and it has been amazing. There are reasons for which I love Canva, and they are as explained below:

The only problem I have with Canva is the cost of some elements and templates.

Canva is very convenient, versatile and easy to use for any designers or non-designers. It saves time, it's fast and easily accessible anywhere. As a design manager, I kind of use Canva more than my usual image editing software. Recommended for social media designers and executives alike.

Canva has design templates for all kinds of ideal graphics. You can design and create flyers, banners, social media posts, presentation graphics, business cards and etc. You name it! It's a quick way to create quick graphical content online. It's easy and simple to use. Just drag and drop text with matching pictures to create wonderful images and graphics. Not only you can create graphics or do printing with Canva, but it has this Graph Maker feature that you can custom your chart or diagram without effort! This is one of my favourite features of Canva. My flowcharts never looked so inviting and awesome! It completely changes my presentation look! I and my design team find it convenient to use since its a graphic design tool online which can be accessed anywhere and on any device. Even if your laptop doesn't have any graphic editing software, just go online and access Canva.

By default, Canva is free but has very basic templates and choices even though it is 100% customizable. So many good templates are locked. If you really want to take full advantage of Canva, I suggest paying a bit extra for the Premium version because their design templates for Premium are more stunning, cool with more awesome choices.

I love that Canva is really quick and easy to use. I can make a beautiful graphic in less than 5 minutes. Helps me to be more efficient at my job.

I have been using Canva for over 5 years now and they are always improving the technology to make it better for the user. This program is great to use for creating digital and physical marketing assets like social media posts, flyers, sticker designs, logos, display ads, cards, email headers, and so much more. I enjoy how there are pre-set dimensions for different graphics, it really makes it easy to create images quickly.

Sometimes social media graphics show up blurry on the social platforms though I use the recommended size in Canva.

I highly recommend it because I can create high-quality items in short time. If you have your corporate colors saved in advance and your logos filed away, you can really fly on deadline projects. I speak from experience ;)

I prefer programs such as InDesign and I trust the judgement of graphic designers and artists. That said, you can create a variety of items in short time. (Sort of my 'design 911' program; it's fast and you can save your corporate colors in the color scheme). I've done logos, GIFs, full-page magazine layouts, you name it. Also, if you are a non-profit, make sure you file you paperwork with Canva; you can get this service for free, which is a big deal for places on a small budget.

I'll start by saying those who use services like Fiverr should stay away from this. This is so easy to use - if you put the work into it - someone who fashions himself as the office 'jack of all trades' will find this and think, we don't need to invest in a graphics artist. No, you still need to understand basic design concepts. It won't work miracles. Also, you may be to be sure you use the different customizable folders which are available. It streamlines the process when you want to create for certain topics or specific clients. If you don't, you can still find your creations...but it is easier to save like this. Really, it's not a complaint!

Initially, I was spending hours developing templates and SVG files for my business. Canva helped me to save hours and hours of time! I am a craft blogger so I find that I am creating Pinterest pins on a daily basis. I also add graphics to Google My Business, Facebook, Instagram, and more, so the need for a quick way to get my images out is necessary. Canva fills that bill! It is my favorite application for graphic production.

I have been using this software for a number of years and in the beginning, there were very few options available. Today, the features not only include templates, they include animations, elements, the ability to use all your own fonts, images, and other assets. The ability to choose the right size for the right application without having to pull out a spreadsheet and read through text really sets this application apart from the rest.

Canva is not a design software, do not expect to draw or create graphics. Creation needs to occur outside the application. MP4 downloads are incredible but often I have to download them a couple of times to work the way I expect them to work. Not a big deal as the application checks off so many boxes when it comes to creating quick, high-quality images.

I actually use Canva for business purposes. I use it in conjunction with my Cricut machine and it is perfect! I've made price lists, notebook covers, coloring book pages, water bottle labels and I'll probably be using it for so much more. I love it, it's my go-to for everything! If you haven't tried it out yet, you are missing out! I suggest watching some youtube videos as well. Great for Marketing purposes!

The best part of Canva is the ease of use! I love all of the options and examples they have with the templates. They have so many template sizes for logos, flyers, facebook headers, business cards, and so many more. -Probably my favorite thing about the program is the autosave feature, which saves changes while your working on a project, you don't understand how much of a lifesaver that really is until you actually lose your work! - I like that there is an upload section so you can reuse certain images for different projects. The 'uploads' and 'your designs' are two different folders.

-So I'm actually checking it right now because I honestly couldn't think of any cons I used to have an issue searching for free images to use as backgrounds on desktop but it looks like they fixed it! -I know I do hate when I add a background/image to a project and I go to expand it to fit the blank "canvas" the dimensions of the image don't stay and it stretches it and it gets blurry. If I notice anything else I'll come back and add if i'm able to but as of right now my main and only issue is not being able to

I love using it to work with the people on my team who were not designers. They were able to create a graphic on the fly by themselves or better express what they wanted when they looked at all the options that Canva offered. They would look at the templates and go "I want something like that."

I love all of the templates that are readily available and you can work from fast. If you need a layout for a flyer, you hit the button for flyer and then there are 100 options that you can select from and use. They have it so you can narrow down by focus like real estate or food, etc. It's extremely easy to upload your own graphics into the system for use. I use Canva for a lot of one off flyers or social media graphics. I have also used Canva on the professional side and actual set up a brand through their software. I was able to create palettes and upload the correct colors using hex codes as well as upload my fonts.

One of the major flaws is when you go to select multiple items that are layered to move or work with. They have an odd way of grouping them. Also, it is very difficult to select an object on a sub layer to move without moving everything on top of it. Second complaint or issue has to do with printing the pdf files. I have had my alignment in the piece go completely wonky when it printed and there was not an easy way to fix the issue. The templates that list a monetary number are confusing - it seems like you would have to pay to use the template but in reality the cost is actually for the stock photo they are using in the template. If you replace the stock photo, the template is free.

Canva is a great resource for making visuals like advertisements and invitations. It is use to use and flexible. Using the templates and included images will make some nice products, but with its popularity growing, be prepared to add some of your own images and designs to personalize your projects. Or you can work completely from scratch. It beats Word or PPT because it presets the dimensions for the output which makes it so much easier post production.

Canva is easy to use, with a drag and drop feature design template, sample templates. Canva has many size templates for most if not all the social media platforms and different uses, such as Facebook posts and banners. You can easily upload your own graphics and images, crop and size within Canva, and download completed projects. The browser version can be accessed from anywhere so I can work from any computer. There is also a mobile app that works well.

The free version shows all of the paid content so you have to scroll through all the premium fonts and images to find the one you want. It would be nice if you could hide the paid content. In the mobile app, upload images only pulls from my gallery. I have to download images form dropbox or OneDrive to my gallery in order to load them into Canva. There should be a way to import form anywhere on your mobile device. Cropping on the mobile app takes some getting used to. you pinch the image to fit the box, not reduce the box like on the browser version.

Being on this stage for a very nearly multi-year and utilizing it consistently, I can say that it is one of the best online illustrations and photograph altering stage I at any point utilized. I am extremely satisfied with Canva and my overall experience. I've been using canva for over 5 years now, designing social media posts and banners, posters and other marketing collateral. At the beginning of your paid for service, Canva ask for your brand colours and company logos allowing you to make branded designs very quickly and effortlessly. For those in my team who do not have adequate training or experience on Adobe Indesign for example, Canva has given them enough agency to help advance their design skills overall. It's been a great design tool and instructions are very clear for new users. It is without a doubt, one of my most valuable and most exploited marketing tool that I use.

I really enjoy how intuitive this software is. Essentially, it utilised a drag-and-drop format and provides easy access to photographs, vectors, graphics, and fonts. Some of these you may need to purchase, however the cost is similar to what you would pay on Shutterstock. I recommend Canva to my colleagues across Northern Europe as a way to create smart and attractive social media designs on a weekly,if not daily, basis.

Very occasionally, the saved output can vary from what I've done in the design- so double check it - which is always recommended anyway! More and more elements seem to have a cost; there definitely used to be many more free images and graphics to use before.

The user-friendly interface, hundreds (if not thousands) of templates, and ability to create designs with a mobile app have me sold on this software. The "business" or "pro" version of Canva comes at a minimal cost of ~$13 per month if you want all the bells and whistles. Otherwise, one could easily use the free version with no issues or limitations, other than not having as much access to the library of free images and graphics.

Canva is easy to learn so you can start creating designs almost right away. There is also a huge library of images and graphics to choose from so you don't have to constantly upload your own images and graphics just to make simple designs. I also LOVE all the pre-made, FREE templates they have available to their users.

There are certain design functions and features that Canva has not yet implemented. For example, it would be really nice if there was a text-bending feature, to curve text around graphics, images, or other text. It would also be nice to have layers. Nothing extensive, but for example, I'd love to make a rose-gold text from a font "layer" and a rose gold "layer" by merging the two and "cutting out" my text to create a rose-gold font.

Overall, I am super pleased!!!!

Canva is super easy to use, the templates are GREAT, and the assortment of options one has is fantastic. I love that one can use the different parts of templates with others, mix match, etc. I was hesitant to use them for ordering printed material because I had only used them for memes online but took the plunge after noting that another website charges an arm and a leg for shipping and tax and worse the amount you could order for money was significantly less. Canva allowed me to order more, and pay less.

The only cons I add are I wish the color palette offered a wider arrange of colors and that the frames still had the oval with no white on the edge of the frame. Even then the oval was not completely oval, which made it a little more oblong on one side than oval.

My overall experience with Canva is very good. I particularly like the software for its super easy drag and drop funtionality. The premium version is not expensive which makes canva a perfect choice for freelancers, bloggers and start-ups. Canva makes designing super fun because it is very easy to use.

Canva comes with exciting features that makes designing a fun activity rather than a cumbersome task. It is highly optimized and has drag and drop functionality which makes the software fairly easy to use and learn. It lets you readily design graphics for blog posts, info-graphics, presentations, graphs, social media posts and even resume. I personally use it for making info-graphics and blog post pictures and I am loving it. Canva provides ready- made templates along with many clip arts to design fun and great graphics. The free version should suffice for new users and bloggers but if you want the complete access to all the templates you'd have to upgrade to premium version. The premium version is not very pricey so it's all worth it.

The only thing I dislike about Canva is that it doesn't work offline. You need to have a good quality internet connection in order to smoothly run the canva software. Also, canva can't completely replace high-end graphic softwares like photoshop. Canva is especifically designed to make designing easy but it is still inadequate for complex projects. At times it is also difficult to place small clip-arts on infographics because it demands heavy zooming.

Time savings. Cost savings. Low-cost to no-cost illustration and photography selection is huge. User-friendly. From the graphics I created on Canva I've set up a regular posting schedule with another SaaS and now have 10,000 more visitors to my blog since I initiated my new system. Canva has played a big part in this.

Canva is user-friendly. I was able to get signed up and start producing social posts and eCards almost immediately. The multitude of features give me versatility. After I style one social post, I can then resize it to multiple sizes to fit all my social media venues. That is an amazing time saver for me.

My overall experience with Canva has been a really positive one. Like I said, as a supplement for photo editing software, it does everything you'd want it to do. Generally, when I need to create a social post for an upcoming holiday, I'll head over to Canva, type the name of the holiday into the search bar, and select the design that I like the best. That's it. Occasionally, I'll have to do some minimal tinkering with the design to get it just right, but for the most part, it's pretty much grab-and-go. Since the barrier-to-entry is so low with Canva, there's really no reason not to use it, particularly if you're looking to add more graphical elements to your marketing, and don't have an in-house graphic designer, or you want to save yourself some time when it comes to creating social graphics.

One of the best things about this service is that it's completely free. If you need a post for a social media channel, or a banner for a blog post, you can hop into Canva, type what you're looking for in the side, and it'll spit out a myriad of options for you to choose from. I find that generally, these options (prefab from Canva, or possibly designs that other users have created and allowed for re-use) generally hit the nail on the head for what I'm trying to accomplish. Most of the time, I use Canva to create social posts for upcoming holidays. It's a huge time saver to be able to head to their service and type 'St. Paddy's Day' into the search field, rather than gather up stock photos of shamrocks to assemble myself in photo editing software. The service has templates for virtually any use case online, and even allows you to customize text placement or images in a fairly simplistic editor (completely with snap-to and grids, so you can always make sure that your elements are lined up properly). If you're in need of a service that will let you design virtual postcards, or square images for social posts, etc. I highly recommend checking out Canva. There's a pro version of Canva you can subscribe to, but I gave this a 5 start rating for value because I've been using the free version and feel it does everything I need it to do. I don't have much experience with support, but the ticket submission system seems entirely serviceable.

There's honestly not much to say that I don't like about the software. It does virtually everything I'd need it to do as a replacement for designing from the ground up using photo editing software. If I were to change one thing, I find that when you're looking for a design, Canva will often spit out a lot of e-vites or holiday card style designs. Usually, I can re-purpose these designs to meet my needs, though, so it's not a deal-breaker by any means. There are also a ton of design templates that you can select on the home page, so you should be able to circumvent this by selecting one of those first.

I make graphics for our companies and occasionally clients, in a whole variety of capacities. I have used Canva to create newsletter graphics, social media posts for Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, Tumblr, Instagram, and Reddit, brochures for products or services, infographics for conferences, and more.

I have been using Canva since I began teaching myself to make graphics over two years ago. It has served me well in both simple projects (like graphics for social media) or full-on gif animations. They continually add new features and content and are always revamping the suggestions for "fresh" ideas. It's also super easy to share your project to other people or places, and you have quite a few download options for your files. And it is SUPER easy to use, the user interface is very intuitive and if you have questions their docs are great!

I have very few complaints, and the ones I have are pretty niche issues. Systematically I don't see issues at all! But sometimes it can be hard to format a picture correctly due to their "snapping" feature that snaps whatever element you're using to the nearest part of the picture the program "thinks" you want to use. For example, if you try and move a circle to a centimeter away from the middle of the graphic you're creating, it will automatically center itself and won't let you un-center it without an enormous amount of fuss. But this is minor and doesn't really happen often for me!

Canva is amazing. I love the approach with design. And I check what is new there almost daily. Also, when it comes for the quick design - Canva is just amazing.

Canva is everything you (nondesigner like me could have dreamed of). Canva offers tools and features to create a stunning piece of art (poster, post, book cover etc.) in seconds without any knowledge of design. You just pick a template, fill in your details and that is all!!!

Not enough templates for all. Canva is great, but since it appeared, so many things have been created without any thought for the style, that all the templates have been used thousands of times over and over again. So it is quite hard to be unique with canva. Furthermore, the editing tools are not that flexible and might be a bit limited at times, and because of that, I can say canva solves everything. I personally still stick to PS for most of my work, but if there is a need for quick design work - canva is my choice.

I mostly use Canva to create social media images. This might sound rather simple. But with Canva's preset sizes, I don't have to worry about resizing, cropping, dragging anymore. That easily saves me 10 minutes per image I create - Canva is saving me hours regularly.

I am not a designer. Last I draw or make something was 12 years ago. But with Canva, I can make a presentable graphics in 10-15 minutes. With my skill level (I used to use MS Word Clip Art tool and Paint), I should not be able to do anything at all. True I havent been able to draw a masterpiece, but Canva is not for that sort of work, at least not that I know of. But if you are looking for a social media post, image for your blog post, poster, cover image, Canva can handle all of those. Sure, you still need to hire a designer if you are going to do stunning artworks. But the day to day grind to produce several images everyday, either professional or personal needs, Canva is there for you. You can even create memes with it!

There is absolutely nothing I want to change. This is simple, intuitive, free or very, very cheap. What more can I ask for??

It has been a very good experience, it helps me with the creations of the clients in the company, I can create many images, brochures and more jobs that I do every day with the templates and tools that Canva offers, it makes the work site efficient. I am happy and satisfied with the final work that Canva gives me, and the clients also because we take into account their suggestions and Canva does the rest with the templates and images that we can use to do all the work that deserves and can be done with Canva

Canva is excellent for creating designs quickly, it is very easy to use, the interface is good and intuitive so all people can use it without problems, it makes it faster and more efficient to create designs such as images for social networks, thumbnails for YouTube videos and much more. In less time I can make more creations and images since I started using Canva, thanks to the templates that are the best I can make the job more fun and easy, the price is accessible so that is fine so that everyone can use it and use the options and utilities that Canva offers.

I have no problems or complaints with Canva, it seems to me that it is an excellent tool that offers several options and functions of excellent utility. Maybe they should add more templates and option to create logos, that would be great. Also an option to go back the process during the creation or what has been done in previous days. But in general Canva fulfills what I need so I have no problems to regret fortunately.

I really had a great experience using this software and I think I will continue to use it until somethingbetter than canva comes up. But for now, Canva for me is more than enough.

I have been using this software for our email campaigns, my personal resume, flyers, training materials, business cards and even logo... I would say that CANVA for me is just the cream of the crop among other softwares that provide same service. -- The software is very easy to use, and when I say easy I meant very easy. It is perfect for beginners or even for people who are not that artistic but would like to have their campaign materials, resumes , business cards or other document to be professional looking. -- The free trial of the software is enough, but for higher quality and more premium tools, the price is reasonable considering your end product. -- They have everything readily available for you , from templates to sizes of docs. and everything else, and if you wanted to make it more personalized you can do it to some extent is still free of charge.

-- First, the customer service is good however, they can only be contacted through twitter and facebook and I think it is more convenient to have a customer service support through phone. -- There is no option to add video clips. It would really be a plus to have this option. -- Limited free options, specially with the image quality. -- If you are working with a team member, there is no way for you to collaborate on same account. Unless you email each other or talk in person. It would be great to be able to leave a note, or a simple chat box for communication purpose between team members.

Canva has helped me to make designs and images that customers like, I can quickly create fascinating designs with the templates and options that Canva offers, it saves me time and money since I can make more images in less time, if I require make a simple design use Canva without a doubt because it makes it look very good and professional looking what everyone likes.

Canva is an essential work tool in my field of work, since I can easily make predetermined images, and it is easy to use and its interface is intuitive which helps all people to use it, offers a variety of options and best of all These are the templates we can use since they save us time and we can create many images for social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and much more. If you have a company you can use it as a work tool, but it can really be used if you are starting with a small company or a family business and want to create images for social media advertising, so it is the best option for those who want to create excellent designs quickly and easily.

I really have no complaints or see problems to speak badly of Canva, it has facilitated the work of creating images that do not require great work, what if you have to take into account is that the free version has many limitations since if you want to use images predetermined on Christmas example; there you will have to use the paid version, so there are certain limitations for the free option. For those who want to use all the qualities and functions that Canva has, it is advisable to buy the full version to be able to access great content in order to start making great great designs.

I really enjoy Canva and so do my clients. I use it daily for my graphics.

If you're just starting out and can't afford to hire a designer and don't have the time for more complex design software, Canva is an excellent solution.

A lot of my clients complain about having to scroll through mixed content on the free version. It would be nice if they could just filter by free content and paid content.

I'm okay at graphic design - better than some, definitely not a professional designer, though. But as a small business, I have to keep costs low but I want to create quality social graphics that elevate my brand. I also need to do it quickly, because I'm usually buried in projects. Canva is the best solution I've found to help me quickly create graphics for blog posts and social for me and my clients.

Canva makes it incredibly easy to quickly make social media graphics, even if you aren't a graphic designer. The ability to create multiple brand tool kits means I can use it for my clients, too. If you can at all, it's worth springing for the pro version.

For what it is, there's nothing I dislike about it. If I'm making a book cover or something that I need to be high-resolution, then I use graphic design software. But for quick & easy social posts, Canva really can't be beat.

Canva has been an incredible tool for my team to crank out high quality social graphics in little time. The templates are an amazing way to get out a design rut, so all of our content is fresh and professional looking, with little to no training necessary.

I love all of Canva's beautiful templates and how intuitive it is to use! I manage a team of social media specialists, and it can be challenging to train them on the Adobe Creative Suite, especially given that we don't need anything elaborate for our clients - we simply need to create high quality graphics for Instagram and Facebook. Canva has allowed us to do that and at an incredibly affordable price.

I don't feel that the Canva Pro offers enough benefits for the price. I love the ability to save a 'Brand Kit,' and it's a great idea for a larger client, but we work with a TON of small low-budget clients, so it's not feasible to pay the Canva Pro price for every single client to have a brand kit set up within Canva. The only other thing that I dislike is that it can be a bit glitchy from time-to-time (it can take a few times to get a photo to snap into place correctly), though overall it's great and the glitches aren't all that time-consuming.

As mentioned above, I'm doing a whole lot with Canva. The most common is making event posters. I host several groups every month and it helps to have a picture to accompany a text announcement over social media. Canva produces excellent results in just a few minutes of my time so I can quickly get back to paid work.

Canva has become one of my most frequently used tools. I use it for anything that is marketing related; events, advertisements, announcements, logos, promotions, coupons. It is incredibly easy to just snap a picture, pick a template, add some text and my social media or email post is done for the day. It yields professional-looking results without having to learn a lot about design. I know that will make some designers shudder, but there are plenty of people already creating terrible designs out there, but usually in Paint or some other outdated program. Pros may find this too simplistic, but there is power in simplicity. Every design doesn't have to be an original work of art. Sometimes getting info out quickly is the goal and Canva can do that while also looking great. The UI is pretty self explanatory, and the ability to resize images instantly is pretty tempting when it comes to the pro version, but that will have to wait for another day. Overall, I love Canva. It's made me a bit of a poster fiend and previously I would avoid such tasks as I was never happy with the results of my efforts. I'm a fan!

There's a few bugs. One is that sometimes when I duplicate a text box, the text can't be seen. Discovered this is easily remedied by saving, exiting the project and then going back in. I wish all the premium features were free. If I was making more money I'd definitely pay for this one. It's so very useful.

I cannot recommend Canva highly enough. I would have never thought that I would be capable of producing all of my own market materials, from logos to business cards, to fliers and social media posts, but Canva has helped me unlock my inner graphic designer. I have used this software to do a complete rebranding of my company's social media sites and promotional materials, all at no cost!

Canva's number one selling point is the ease of use and its wide database of templates. You can create virtually any marketing material that you set your mind to using their vast array of premade, completely customizable materials. I've created everything from bookmarks, to menus, to fliers, to business cards and Instagram posts. The only limit to what you can successfully create in Canva is your imagination! Canva also offers a large selection of fonts, colors, and elements (ie insertable frames, grids, charts, stickers, etc.) that can be added and customized to your preference. You can even upload your own images free of charge! Canva allows even the most inexperienced user to create beautiful, professional-quality marketing materials.

Honestly, this software has very few flaws; and none that are detrimental enough to keep me from recommending the product. When I first began using the software, there were very few text elements or insertable art/graphics that were not available for free. As Canva has re-tooled its Canva Pro program, I find that there is an increasing number of graphics that must be purchased or are only available to Pro members. However, Canva still allows you to upload your own graphics, so there is an easy workaround. If you can invest in the Pro program, I do highly recommend the upgrade as it does increase ease of use, but even the free tool blows other competitors out of the water!

Great program to use! Can access anywhere and transfer designs easily to any platform for use or print. Premium version is definitely recommended and affordable for any company or individual looking for a program that offers a variety of use. Company seems to continually improve product and services with new options, images, and designs. Highly recommend!

Multiple features and functions. Can create a variety of print and digital media from Facebook posts to printed flyers and postcards. Large selection of details, photos, and fonts to use... in both Free & Premium versions. Easy to use with your own images and templates, easy to customize and use again. Transfers easily from online platform to computer to print shops. Great to use for personal fun, but also a great product for small businesses! Not a bad price either!

There are some user interfaces and functions that could be improved upon. Hard to find ways to adjust small details while in the design; cannot adjust individual colors within stickers or fonts, hard to resize the design template unless selected previously, and difficult to manipulate sizes for photos and backgrounds. There are lots of options in the Free version, but for most items you will need the Premium version to get more. Do not be fooled... this is not a replacement for more advanced software programs such as Photoshop or InDesign, but works beyond limited/basic needs for print and digital media.

I've used the software in my previous position at a non-profit in which I wore many hats within the organization. We had to be incredibly budget concious in all desicions and Canva helped us create designs that kept us relevant without having to spend huge money. In my current position, Canva allows me to take some of the workload off of our marketing department by being able to stay on brand with great designs for small projects.

Canva is an exceptionally user friendly design software that takes the complication out of making simple marketing materials. I use the free version and have been incredibly successful in finding what I need to make attractive and useful designs for everything from save the dates to social media posts. For any organization that wants to avoid the high costs of sophisticated design software or having to hire out every small job, Canva is a no brainer.

I don't have anything negative to say about the software. Any feature that you may want is available when you upgrade to pro but there is plenty of features to get most jobs done in the free version.

At my company, we create social media graphics, promotional graphics, and ads all the time, for ourselves and for our clients, and Canva makes it incredibly easy and fun. They're constantly adding new features to keep it all fresh, and their customer support is excellent. The "Pro" package provides everything we need to create professional, high-quality graphics we're proud to share with our clients and the world. Using Canva is more play than work!

Canva is incredibly easy to use, even if you've never worked with any kind of design software. It provides everything you need to design high-quality graphics of all kinds, whether you know anything about design or not. Their "Design School" videos and articles are useful for people new to design, but also for sparking ideas and jumpstarting creativity for experienced users. I use it myself, my company uses it, and I recommend it to all my self-publishing clients.

I have only two minor quibbles, and the way Canva goes, they'll probably have them fixed by the time this review comes out: I wish Canva kept a temporary list of the fonts tested in a particular design (even if they weren't chosen), and I wish the stickers were searchable, or appeared in search results. In both cases, I end spending a LOT of time scrolling.

Canva is such a valuable tool for small businesses. It allowed me to step up my game and make beautiful graphics for my site and social media without investing a bunch of time and money in learning other software. If you've never tried Canva, at least give it a shot before choosing something else.

Canva is SO easy to use. I create graphics for my blog and youtube channel and I can bust out a quarter's worth of content in 30 minutes. The templates are beautiful, the images, tools, and fonts are perfect for quick use and being able to upload your own content makes everything quick to find and use. I can get away with the free plan but I've used the pro version in the past and I was extremely happy with it.

There are limitations to what you can do, especially on the free version. I hope they will continue to add more features and functionality in the future.

Canva has been great for discovering my designs skills in college and being able to get inspiration from free templates and free graphics that can be used on a design. It has also really increased my efficiency and design flow and also made it better for me to work from anywhere i need to be both on personal things as well as on school work. It has been an extremely fruitful experience and i am really thankful for the team that made this possible. Going forward, i hope to be able to keep using it and learning better ways to design with Canva

I love canva! It gives me a great and unified place to collect all my designs together and especially when it comes to making posters for my Boss and graphics for different websites and designs. Better yet, it allows us when working on teams to be able to combine our ideas and be able to critique and improve each other's work. For example, when building sites like https://msimbao.github.io/idealab_website/ i can ask my teammates to review my mockup before i start building it and the mockup process is very quick and easy and since it is stored on the cloud i can work on it anywhere i want. This is especially useful for homework and class projects where i might have to go off campus but can still work on the project wherever i am.

The connections between the design app part and the other important showcases on the canva website aren't always clear. For example, if i am logged into my dashboard, it is not always clear how to move from my dashboard to the canva school or to the canva blog where i might want to learn a few new things or look at what the community is doing. Also i don't yet know how to get in touch with other online designers that use canva. I wish there was a forum or community part of canva to talk to other people. Instead, i have to go to the reddit site to talk to people and discover things.

Overall, We recommend Canva as a good choice for designing in an effortless away. This program is not only easy to learn but also easy to use and requires no user experience whatsoever. Also, this program offers students a remarkable platform to express their learning skills and design their custom illustrations.

Designing: Canva is ideal for students as it aids them in designing posters and infographics. It provides an excellent platform for students to show their skills as it helps them express what they've learned. Canva is remarkable in designing class flyers as it helps users to express their imagination and creativity as it provides tons of opportunities for designing in every possible aspect.

Text: If Canva users wish to add up any sort of text in their designing they won't be able to do so, it is because users are unable to add up any sort of text and they only have to rely on the templates which are quite frustrating for its users.

As a highly creative person with a background in none-digital artwork, I found it previously frustrating not having a photoshop background of any kind. With Canva, I was able to make myself a valuable asset to my e-commerce company and have since taken on a marketing role. It's quick and easy to use even outside of creating marketing material. I've made forms for customers, social media posts, external documents, internal training guides, resumes, thank you cards, welcome to the team announcements, presentation elements, and frankly, more of a name for myself on my team. Big thanks!

#1 feature is how easy Canva is to use. You can have little to no previous design experience but if you have a creative eye at all you can create stunning images within minutes. There are so many templates for nearly every possible use case you could have. While you can change colors and frames and elements, it's all easy to see how you make those changes. I love the lines that pop up to help you align the individual parts of your design. The font options are good too! They even pre-pair some complimentary fonts together for you. You can upload your own images to add to your designs and now they are beginning to play around with moving images. The platform isgrowing and it's going to be good!

I wish there was a more in-depth sort feature when searching for something. For example, when looking for a frame to populate an image into, a lot of times I just want a simple 1:1 square but I can never find it in the "frames" category. Also, if there were a way to sort for the "free" options and then be able to look at the ones for Pro or Cost if nothing comes up it would be helpful. A lot of times if I only see 3-4 free options after a search for something specific, I won't keep scrolling. I'll go to another site and pull what I want and upload it instead of spending time on the jumbled options.

I use this software for multiple websites, and for one client, I created a new logo, using all Canva elements, that they liked so well, they adopted it into an outdoor sign on a prominent highway. The downloaded Canva file was high resolution and perfect for the sign-maker, and I see my "logo design" on the highway each time I drive through that town.

The ease of use of this software, for creating fast and professional graphics for social media and website promotions. I find I turn to it, again and again, rather than reinventing the wheel for custom graphics. The library of images continues to grow, as do the templates available. I do customize them a great deal -- I don't use any of them "out of the box" but it's still a massive time-saver, and easy to share with the approval team.

It can be difficult to align certain elements without a grid. While the adjustment lines do show up for centering right-left and top-bottom, there are many times I'd to be able to turn on a transparent grid for multiple element on a page. I end up using an overlay from the stock images, and then deleting that overlay, which is cumbersome.

It gives you the power to create any printed/web document or image with the same tools. You started from a template to create a printed invitation, then resize it to a web banner and then to a flyer and then to a post with animation. It can take time to master it, but you always get some interesting results from the very beginning.

Many templates for all situations, from business card to flyer, from CD cover to banner, from social network post to cover page of social page, from web banners to posters... if you don't find the right size than create your custom page!! I have subscribed to the pro version that allows to resize any template and helps me save time. When you need printed documents, Canva will do it at convenient rate (never tried). You can't save a file locally in Canva's format, that stays in the cloud. You can export in pdf (hi or low resolution), jpg and png with transparent background (paid plan). You can also export animations and videos for social networks. Very interesting: share a document with other users who can edit. Many fonts available, actually to many. Many icons, images and drawings available to resize or crop.

If you have used any paint/drawing software, you need to forget all! You need to start from an existing template and then edit it, that's Canva's philosophy. Finding the right template can take longer then editing, when you have the paid version you ignore the destination they suggest (post, invitation, advert...) because you can easily resize it. Subscribe with the monthly plan and probably you get a good offer for the annual plan. You can't count on support, there are guides in the help section and usually you find explanations on youtube and other sites.

After I'd played with the free version for a while and was convinced, I bought the professional version because it's very affordable and it didn't feel good to use the free version when I wanted to use it for my business. Lately they've added more functions to the pro version too. I've now done at least 800 designs. Depending on the phase of my business, I use it daily at times and then at least a couple of times a week. I've previously used QuarkXpress, inDesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator and a little Photoshop. This does not have the finesse of the Adobe programs or good ole Quark, and I do wish it had a working canvas outside the design, but really you cannot expect all the bells and whistles of one of those design programs for such a tiny amount of money. I can manage nearly everything I want to do and, if not, come up with a workaround, as I'm sure you would with a little practice. It's so simple to use and offers so many benefits.

The only issues I have with them are around customer contact. I've found it impossible to get help.

No doubt, Canva is the best online graphic design platform, even as an expert in Photoshop, I still find myself working on Canva for quick and easy designs, the ease to use platform blows my mind all the time. I’m able to create a book cover within 20 minutes; I have made Logo design for friends without the stress of learning complicated tools.

Canva is an incredible online graphics tool that let people create their designs easily. Canva have a lot of advantages that will blow your mind.

Canva is really helpful, have a lot of advantages but yet some shortcomings that makes their platform a second choice. First: Canva is an online only platform, everything Canva offers can only be access on the Internet, no offline feature. This is the advantage the software has over Canva, if you’re in a location with poor connections, Canva won’t be an option to use. Second: Paid users get more beautiful templates. Although the advantage of paying for their service is to get more premium designs, however, free users are very much limited when it comes to templates; the paid designs are shown to free users but watermarked. Third: Even paid users don’t have full access; there are some other materials that you’ll still need to purchase. Lastly, Canva has a mobile app to make their platform mobile friendly. This would have been an advantage if only the app will just work as expected. The app is really buggy and frustrating to use, totally not the Canva I’m use to on PC, I have to get rid of it.

I'm pretty sure that Milton Glaser, most famous for creating the I ❤ NY logo, would hate the fact that Canva lets anyone be a designer—and a great one at that. With the incredible templates, variety in fonts (plus the ability to upload your own), recommendations, and tools, Canva has made my life so much easier. I'm able to create social media designs so much more quickly as well as one-off graphics. Sure, for brochures and business cards, I still use QuarkXPress because of the ability to fine-tune typography. But for everything else, Canva is my go-to tool. I use it every day, and I can't imagine my working life without it.

I love almost everything about Canva. First, it is incredibly easy to use. Although I have a background that includes design, I was able to teach my sister to use it within about 5 minutes. The tool is incredibly user-friendly and very intuitive, so it's almost like you're guided through the design process.

I have only a few complaints with Canva. The first is probably on their product roadmap—I wish that I could merge files. At this point, I can move any design into a folder. But I can't move a design in File A to File B, even if they're the same size. Here's why I find this is problematic: Let's say I have a file of Instagram designs (1080x1080) for Client A, and I want to convert just the first of the designs into a video thumbnail (1920x1080). And I already have a file of video thumbnails for Client A. So, I either need to recreate the Instagram image into my file of video thumbnails, which is silly and duplicates work. Or I need to copy and resize the whole Instagram designs file, delete everything but the first page, and then make the small adjustments to get it the right size. Ideally, I would be able to then take this newly designed image and merge it into my Video Thumbnails file. But I can't do that. So now I have a handful of random files, which becomes slightly cumbersome. Nit picky, yes, but it would be so helpful to do and a real time-saver.

Overall Canva has greatly helped me advance my business because I was able to create professional looking graphics that attract traffic to my website for free.

This software is extremely user friendly and it was able to give me a competitive advantage when I just started my business, had no experience in graphic design amd had a very small budget . The free version has more than enough features. I love the simple drag and drop functionality. The ready to use templates make this product perfect for even the most novice of designers.

If you're looking to do more complex design such as creating layouts for magazines or designing large graphics for tshirts, for example, it becomes more tedious to use as you have to drag and drop everything and there are minimal text formatting options you may need to make dozens of text boxes to create the look you want. The free version also does not allow you to resize graphics or save graphics with transparent backgrounds.

Overall, I can't recommend a design software enough. It is easy to learn, easy to use, practical, fun, and offers new personalization for projects that I was anticipating creating. If you're looking for something that you can really dig into, this isn't really that. But if you need one tool for everything you could need if you have some flexibility with your project, look no further.

I love how easy this is to use. I was able to figure out how it worked in minutes, and was able to navigate the different design options with ease. As this tool has grown, I have found that they have offered more opportunity to get really creative with customization. If you need a simple template and don't want to get too detailed, there are so many great options. If you have a vision and your own content, and you just need a simple tool to put it together, it's also great for that. They stay on top of trendy fonts, colors, and patterns, and you can really tell that they know what their users want. I have used Canva for invitations, newsletters, meeting agendas, and most commonly I make flyers with it. I run social media for a dorm and catchy designs are necessary if we want college students to take a second look. I have never found that I need anything but Canva.

I haven't found what I don't like, but the ability to use gif images would be helpful. I recognize that if pictures move, it may go beyond what this software can do. Animated or not, some images are just in that format. Additionally, the search feature is occasionally difficult to navigate since you need to sort through free and payment required images to find what you need.

One of the benefits that I have obtained with Canva is the portability that offers me to work, I have been away from home and a client contacts me, thanks to the mobile application of Canva, I have managed to pass a draft to customers who need urgent work . Another benefit is that one of the offices for which I work has implemented Canva as the main tool to change the size of many of the designs I have developed, which gives me more time to serve other clients with greater complexities. It is a graphic resource that I have managed to adapt as an assistant in which my clients leave the ideas that I end up improving to fulfill their interests.

As a graphic designer it is an absolute wonder all that Canva has done for many people. In my case, I really liked the possibilities it offers me to provide better care, both to my clients and to the bosses I work with. I like that anyone can take the path to graphic design, I have managed to give classes on how to design using Canva as a basis of work. Also, I like the almost unlimited graphic resources they offer for work. I like very much that based on my designs, my co-workers advance some elements that their departments need. Also, with Canva I can make personalized presentations that give my work a unique style, which has caught the attention of my clients. Another aspect that I liked a lot, is to be able to take my designs, adapting them to new dimensions within the platform, to the universe of social networks, it is amazing.

Not at all, it has no negative aspects to highlight, as a graphic designer I have looked for weak elements but so far I do not identify any. On the contrary, it is such an intiutive platform that I even recommend it for the daily use of people.

Canva will not magically turn you into a graphic designer or give you a good design sense. However the built-in templates and easy-to-use interface will allow non-designers to make functional pieces and more seasoned graphic designers to quickly design or prototype designs for use.

Many of the assets such as templates and photos are paid items, either on a per item basis or by using Canva subscription.

As a user with advanced graphic design experience, I will usually still opt to use Canva on certain projects, because the templates and tools make it so easy to create great visuals! For advanced designers, there can be some frustration with limitations when you're used to using graphic design software, but Canva is perfect for everyday use and when you need graphics that can be edited by others with limited design ability. It's a necessary tool for marketers that will save you SO much time!

One of the most user-friendly softwares I've ever used! It cut our design time and budget significantly, we're now able to create most of our digital marketing graphics in-house. The automatic resizing for different social channels is an amazing timesaver. Working in a global business, it's great to be able to have easily editable designs that can then be used as a template for when we need to translate into other languages, without the rest of the team needing the ability to work with traditional design software.

If you're used to using more advance design software, some of Canva's features can feel very limited. I'd love to see them improve the search functionality, you can spend a lot of time scrolling through options if you're looking for something specific. Sometimes the resolution of images being exported out can be very low, even if the original photos/graphics are high-resolution.

I've used Canva to solve many business problems over the years.

I LOVE that Canva includes SO MANY templates so that non-designers can quickly and easily create a social media graphic that looks good, without needing to know the design tenents behind WHY it looks good (or HOW to make it look good).

Not a complaint, but a feature not every user knows about... even templates with a $ can be used for free... this just means that the IMAGE included in the template isn't free... if you swap that image out for a free image, the template itself is still free.

Canva is a beautiful tool that has revolutionized the game for small or budding business to go out there with professional content. I've used Canva for possibly anything that you could think of (Resumes, Facebook Creatives, my Company Logo, etc). The best part is, the Freemium is as good at some of the other Premiums out there. However, if you're using Canva for business purposes, I suggest you use their paid pricing model. It's a little steep, but it's worth it.

1) Easy To Use: Trust me, it's not as scary as some of the other "photoshop" softwares that scare people off. Canva is incredibly simple to use and very easy to master. You can be a beginner or a professional, but I've you're lucky enough to stumble upon this tool, you're sorted.

1) Graphs and Charts: Usually, on chosen templates that have a graph or a chart in them, you can't edit or input your own data or values to change their visual representation. To overcome this, I usually use an external graph or chart maker and import a PNG version of the same into my Canva project. Just a minor setback because the external tools that I use are free.

Canva is AMAZING!! I've even talked with some Photos--- specialists who love Canva and how quickly they can pump out content. I love that they email me monthly tips and tricks as well as new templates. The library of internal graphics that's included with the paid plan is totally worth it. I was a free user for about 6 months and then tried the paid version. This is one tool that I use daily in my business and I've never thought about cancelling, it's too valuable.

The templates are worth their weight in gold. Some days there's not a creative bone left in my body; so I use a template and change it up a bit. Boom! Amazing graphic in 30 seconds. I've taught my team to use Canva in 30 mins and they're up and running. Most of the training was business specific on how to create client folders for uploads, creating brand guides, and exporting and resizing. I love that my team can share a completed design with me and I can then make any edits that are needed or resize for another platform. I've used Canva for Print Ads, Facebook Ads, website graphics, Instagram, and the list goes on. My favorite little trick is layering an image and downloading it as a GIF and then I've got a quick video for Instagram. I've never had to use their customer service line, but the monthly newsletter updates are fantastic.

The mobile app for this tool is a little less user friendly and I have a harder time using it, but I prefer to create graphics online anyway so I can download a zip file and then schedule and plan. Their new layout that they just upgraded too took a bit of an adjustment, but I love it now.

you can do all the work inside canva even when you want to share your designs through social media

in canva there are dozens of standard dimensions for both graphics and documents, canva is a design tool for non designers i mean biginners to create stunning graphics and also for those who perform office tasks such as writing an A4 document ,resume, brochure,us letter document,i think this tool is more useful for designers if we take the web there is a wide variety of websites such as a social media facebook ,twitter, while each website requires its own dimensions for graphics, to remember all dimensions it is hard but it puts infront your eyes before you begun designing all kind of graphics like youtube channel art, youtube thumbnail, facebook post or cover and more, dozens with their precise dimensions by the left corner there are several functions the most intersting i think the one called elements divided into columns and supported by a search bar, a nice way to organize things under each column the objects are grouped under headings like health, beauty and fashion, lines, shapes and many others after all found objects are pictures or graphics, it seems like they mean those united objects have something in common and so you can take them for that niche or subniche or title ,last what I like so much in canva when I can transit if we can say that or otherwise change a graphic already made for a specific platform to another in the dimensions are different if you take the example to pass a grapfic facebook post to pintrest pin it will not be quite adequate the first time but

you need to have a high connection so that templates and layouts load quickly and again when you work on canva you notice that the number of free images, free icons is shrunk as time goes by, it is a lot harder to find free elements, sometimes there are outages of services

Overall my experience with Canva has been good despite the glitches. It's still a lot easier to use than most design software.

Easy to use: I used canva to create social media images, Social media cover pages/headers, PDF presentations and ebook covers(and ebooks). I've also used Adobe spark, Photoshop and Illustrator to do the same thing but Canva is a lot easier to use. Photoshop and Illustrator require some level of experience to figure your way around it when creating designs especially for social media, but Canva comes with lots of templates so all I have to do is select a template and modify it.

Limited Logo design options: Technically you can design a logo in Canva, realistically Canva is really not the best place to design a logo as almost all their logo templates look the same.

Canva has made graphic design work quicker and easier for me, especially in the production of graphics for social media, although I also use it to design everything from posters to business cards. Furthermore, it has empowered people on my team without ANY knowledge of other graphic design software to produce good-looking graphics that are consistent with our brand, reducing the demands on me to personally take care of ALL the graphic design needs of my organization.

While I have taught myself to use other forms of graphic design software such as Inkscape and to a lesser extent, Adobe InDesign, lately I have found myself increasingly using Canva as my go-to graphic design tool for 90% of what I do. I use Canva for Work now, and love that I can have brand colours and fonts at the ready, and can easily produce designs in just the right dimensions for various applications without having to look up what those dimensions should be. I have given access to my Canva account to colleagues so that they, too, can generate quality, on-brand designs, and the more I use Canva, the more templates I can make available for others on my team to copy and adapt. I also find the fact that it puts access to vast libraries of free and paid clipart and photos at my fingertips extremely handy.

There are just a few respects in which Canva comes up short relative to programs like Inkscape:

It is an exhaustive design tool and despite having almost every functionality present in it, the tool is not as heavy as other designing software. I repeat, Canva is a BLESSING.

Canva is a blessing to every person who finds Photoshop too difficult to work with and to all those companies who don't want to necessarily hire a graphic designer. So, I discovered Canva during my very 1st job when the only graphic designer in the staff would give me a tough time in sending across timely designs. I had to manage the social media pages and it was imperative for me to ensure, that graphics be prepared on time for me to post. That is when I started my search for a basic designing software that would fulfill making good looking post-worthy graphics. Given my requirement, Canva invariably surpassed the expectations since I never know you could get so much of functionality available FOR FREE. Quickly:

1) Lately, Canva has been working really slow on even a good speed internet. It has been working excellently only when the WiFi strength is at it's peak. Despite this, Canva's functionality far outdoes the slow working that too has only been happening recently.

easy to use, has really streamlined our marketing process amongst a team that doesn't always get to see each other, professionalized our design and taught us about graphic design without having to sit through extensive classes

I can't rave enough about this product. Before this, we were using MS Publisher and the templates are very antiquated with little guidance or some of us jumped to Adobe InDesign which is quite overwhelming. Canva has been a true game changer. It is so easy to use. No one here is trained in graphic design and there is great help/design school section for those who aren't trained but want to learn a little more about basic principles like font, negative spacing, etc. in hands on quick practice tutorials. They also include free templates that are beautiful and graphically pleasing if you don't know where to start. Uploading of your own images are quick and easy with png or jpg supported formats. I love that all the documents come in sizes like poster, facebook post, twitter and you can easily "magic resize" any document with very little tweaking to use the same design amongst all social media and posters with just the quick press of a button. I don't need to remember sizes anymore. You can share designs among team members so we can all keep the same branding, image folders, and color scheme or edit easily. If you have any worries about copyrighting of outside images, you can stay within Canva and search their free/paid images.

That you can't search by free images only and if not that feature it is frustrating that you can't organize them so all the free ones to come up to the top. That is literally the only "bad" thing I have to say about this product!
